not sure if it is by design but when viewing a music playlist the highlighted track does not move onto the next song automatically, this leaves the album art on the first track of the playlist rather than reflecting what is playing. If you reload the page the current track is again highlighted. Can this be changed/fixed, thanks.

I'm curious, do you know of any skins that implement this?

Wasn't sure hence the question. Never really used the screen before but thought it would be cool scrolling through the playlist in real time.

Standard Kodi behaviour I'm afraid. I don't think it makes sense either, but it's not something the skin has any direct control over.

Thanks for clearing that up, hopefully the Kodi devs may see it as a valid feature in a future build.

How to add "In Progress" in Movies' and TV Shows' sub-menu?

In progress tv shows is standard node of the video library. Several ways for movies in progress, use watchlist, create a smart playlist and add that or use content paths provided by add-ons like skin helper or library data provider. They are added in the same way as any other item.

Grid 1.2.10 is available. Several skin settings have been renamed, moved or refactored. Depending on your configuration you may have to reconfigure some settings.

I've had some extra time available today and decided to start on TV Show Next Aired support. I want to stress though, it was just added and is unfinished.

Other changes include:

• The background image for non-media windows can now be set independently. So you set a background for home, library and "other" windows.
  
• All seasons node will use parent tv show poster
  
• Skin will ask to reload after changing visual effects changes
  
• Possible fix for search result being offset by 1 item in Slide view
  
• Touch navigation has been disabled for now, will be readded and extended in future release
  
• Support for multi-image weather fanart packs
  
• Tweaks to the loading of various OSD elements
  
• Gallery in video information screen uses higher quality images
  
• TV Show Next Aired support (wip). Please only use with the updated version from marcelveldt's repo.
  
• Increased font size in texviewer
  
• Changes to displayed information for pvr content in now playing overlay
  
• Several bugfixes and optimizations

how about addon Next-Up Notification? Are Grid will available supported for this addon?

During the public beta I will not be taking any feature requests. During this period I want to focus completely on stability and making this as bug free as possible. After the public beta I will be open to them.

It is not a part of Grid, so there's nothing for me to improve. If you're talking about adding support for this add-on, please see my earlier comments about add-ons and feature requests.

This is not directed at anyone in particular and I certainly do not mean to be rude, but I feel I have to repeat that I am currently not taking feature requests.

One final note (not directed at anyone in particular) but please remember I am not taking feature requests.

Also, often times I simply just don't have an answer to questions like "are you going to add X or Y" because I don't know

Hi Jeroen, just tested Grid, awesome skin! Liking it so much I may start using it over my own.

Is there a reason that you're not using background="true" on the image controls in the icon views? I just tested adding it and scrolling is much smoother now. Looking forward to the final release.

Update: Looks like it's just the ViewIcon.xml that's missing the background tags.

Leia beta
As of now I will occasionally publish Leia builds to the repository add-on. These builds are to be considered experimental, incomplete and unstable. They will also be updated less regularly than the Krypton beta. As a result the Leia beta will likely contain bugs that have already been fixed in the Krypton version.

I am uploading these mostly for internal testing purposes and they are provided as is.

You are obviously welcome to use it, but please do not report bugs encountered on the Leia version. At some point (after the Krypton release has been released officially), I will be opening a new thread for the Leia version when I am ready to take bug reports for the Leia version.

When you are using the Krypton version (which I recommend) nothing will change for you, the Leia version will not show up for you in the repository add-on. From now on, Krypton versions will have an even version number (1.2.10 at the moment of writing) and Leia will use only odd version numbers (1.2.11 at the moment of writing).

That sends me straight to my background, but I can no longer do that on the latest update (global background) home screen is fine. I can add my shortcut to file manager and navigate to my backgrounds for home screen.

Next aired look way better thanks. But one possible bug. When going all the way to the left, and the side bar comes up, and when I slide back to the right to select a TV show nothing is highlighted, I hear the sound but can't select any of my shows. This is on my Windows 10 laptop. Haven't tested on my Android device yet.

7 day mode.. I tested on my Android box (Nvidia Shield) and it's working fine, but not on my laptop.
