I don't see any channel from kodi to mythvtv backend
#1
Hello,

I'm trying to see iptv channels with kodi using like backend mythtv.

I followed all the guides to configure mythtv and finally I get channels importing into mythtv.

The problem is that I did not see channels from kodi (connected to mythtv backend) even if the same list used in VLC works fine.

inside the mythtv backend log I see this rows in the time I try to connect to the channel:

Code:

I guess the first question is: Does it work in mythtv-frontend?

@Klojum : I'm very sorry, next time I'll do that.

@nickr: I tried to see inside mythtv-frontend as you suggested, but it does not work neither into it.
It's like it fails to connect to internet, isn't it?

First thought is that MythTV isn't an IPTV PVR; you need some sort of tuner—OTA, cablecard, etc. Second thought is—is 'iptvthebest.net' legit?

I read that mythtv is an IPTV PVR and can record from iptv lists.
Second, iptvthebest list works on VLC and it is legit.

Then go to the mythtv-users mailing list.
