I too am hoping for a fix. Today I tried to install the Kodi repo one and too am getting 403 errors on login information, as well as 404 errors on any search attempt. I'm a HUGE soundcloud lover and this is the only way to enjoy it outside of web browser conviently from my Linux machine.

This is the addon I use the most, I subscribed all my favorite artists and it's my daily source for new music
Would be great if someone could fix this.

I just noticed that the Kodi support page for this add-on lists Kodi v17.5 as the latest supported release, but I am running v17.6.

Is this add-on really foobar'd regardless of version?

Can anyone confirm if it works for Kodi v17.5 and earlier?

If it works in v17.5, it will also work in v17.6. It is major versions that you need to be careful with- eg upgrading from v16 to v17. But v17.5 to v17.6 is ok

Looks like the original author is no longer maintaining this add-on so unless another member of the community to update it, then it may be broken. Can you let me know if it works or not. If it does not work I will get it marked as broken in the Official Repository.

It hasn't worked in some time. Soundcloud changed API stuff and that broke the addon.

I found this fork of the bromix soundcloud which currently has search working, though everything else is still broken.
