DMS has only recently added an API for timer rules. It's on my todo list but I'm fairly busy with work and private life.

Yes this is also a killer feature for me, I love dvbviewer for speed and stability but series recording from Kodi is needed for WAF ....

I have never looked at the Kodi timer concept in great detail, but I doubt that it can be better than the DVBViewer Recording Service/Media Server web interface on a mobile device.

Might not be better, but the WAF is terrible. She wants to operate TV with a remote, not with a PC or mobile....

Any developments on this? I'm aware of the mobile/web interfaces but as others have mentioned, WAF requires ability to create series links from the actual EPG. I'm stuck with DVBLink (TV Mosaic -ugh!) at the moment because of this requirement but I'd love to jump back to DVBViewer if/when this gets implemented.

Hello,
great to see that timer rules now working. But i note an issue or bug. When adding a series to a timer rule in Kodi (v18) all belonging episodes timer are created correct. But after i delete a series timer rule all other episode timer still exists and will not be deleted and so i have to manually delete them all. Please note that this worked correct with tvmosaic pvr addon which i used before.

This is the way the DMS works. You simply have to delete them manually.
