I have a white bar at the side of the screen and there is a colored bar at the bottom. Is there a way to set the skin so it doesnt display these?

Fantastic work @jurialmunkey, I've come to expect the best skins from you, you never seem to disappoint!  

I just wanted to report a bug (possibly?), and a suggestion.

I've found that if I have many main menu items (currently 16), if I'm at the top item, and I press up to jump to the bottom, it only jumps about half way down.  This really isn't a problem until you scroll up and widgets are at the wrong locations.  It will usually display my top widget until I scroll all the way to the top again then it seems to fix itself.  Maybe it's something I'm doing incorrectly as well?

Also, it would be great if I could edit the item that says HOME at the top while on the main menu to say something else.  I liked this feature in Eminence (although I was using MOD 2 by alanon, not sure if that was in your original Eminence).  Maybe it's as easy as an xml I could edit.  I did some poking around but couldn't seem to locate it.

Yeah the skin is actually limited to having only 12 menu items, so that is why having 16 items is causing bugs. This is because otherwise the number of available widgets balloons out of control and causes crashes - having 12 items with 8 widgets is almost 100 possible widgets alone (96 to be exact). You will notice that once you reach 12 menu items, you can't add any more in the customisation screen -- however there isn't any way for me to hard limit the number of menus if you import from another skin. The skin is designed so that the main menu items are broad categories (e.g. Movies / TvShows / Music / Pics / Addons / Settings) and then you use submenu items and widgets to display other content. So basically, my recommendation is that you reorganise your home menu so that you only have 12 (or fewer) main menu items.

Added an option to change home header text on latest github version.
Skin Settings > Home > Set header label (it's at the bottom so you need to scroll down to see the option).

Looks like you have the wrong resolution set for your tv. Make sure Kodi resolution settings match your TV output display resolution.
Settings > System > Display > Resolution

If you are certain you are using the correct display resolution and the problem persists, then you need to calibrate your screen so that you aren't seeing objects outside of the defined display area.
Settings > System > Display > Video calibration ...

(To see the option for video calibration, your settings level needs to be "Expert". You can change it by opening the side menu in settings and clicking the settings cog at the bottom of the menu until it changes to Expert).

not sure if this is a kodi issue or a horizon skin issue...

sometimes, when my library is automatically updated (separate addon), episodes of new tv shows are added twice...

so, i get two entries in the library, for exactly the same thing.

i can then delete one of them from the library without issue.

cleanup of the library doesn't seem to remove the second entry...

thoughts?

i have tried manually updating the library and the same thing happens... random times, random shows...

 Ah, that makes sense, I did import from Eminence Mod 2.  I don't use widgets for every menu, but I do for most.  I will reorganize my menus to fit that.  Many thanks for adding the Header Label option, that's exactly what I was looking for.

Is there any way to easily change the order of the widgets within each menu item. Right now if i have to change the order, i have to re-do each item. Was wondering if there was a move up or move down arrow for widgets like there is for the main menu items.

Thanks! Glad you like it.

Unfortunately, no way currently to change the order of the widgets. The skinshortcuts addon provides a way to rearrange menu items, but not widgets. I'm hoping that I might be able to come up with a way for Leia, but I haven't figured out a good way as yet.

Feature request:
Would it be possible to make the Horizon splash screen start like GRID(Animated Kodi Logo). When the Horizon splash screen starts up it disappears after 1 second and for about 5-7 seconds I'm left with a blank screen. I think it would add a nice touch to the Horizon splash screen.
If the animated Kodi Logo option is too complex, would it be possible for the current Horizon splash screen to stay visible just before the widgets load? 

@Blurayx - Can you test latest git? I think I have something working now that should display the splash until the home menu has loaded (widgets might still be loading, but the screen shouldn't be blank now hopefully). Let me know how it goes.
