Hello. Can you please make it possible to choose a background for each menu item? It doesn't has to be fanart, a picture is good enough for me.

Yes, because I haven't found the time for it yet.

In any case, this is not a skin issue, the skin will display whatever artwork there is. There's nothing I have to support specifically when it comes down to displaying artwork, whether that is local or online. I tested it anyway though and local images are showing up fine for me. Did you check the logs and updated the add-on?

It’s not dependent on add on settings, it’s just an image control displaying artwork. Did you check the logs and update the add on?

Btw, I don’t see a Leia version of horizon?

I will check the logs, All the add-ons are up to date

Someone created a mod setting(DialogAddonSettings.xml) to work with Leia. This can be found on the first page of the Horizon thread.

Hi. Loving the clean interface. I wonder if it would be possible to utilise the animated lyrics within the skin? With that in mind perhaps make the artist picture full screen also?

I use Favorites for music. is there an option to display the correct aspect ratio for the artist album cover within Favorites?

Love all your work @jeroen! Didn't know you worked on reFocus back in the day. That was one of my favorites. Grid is amazing and looks great on Leia. You think you can point me in the right direction to make the busy loader fullscreen? I always crash my box not knowing Kodi is busy in the background.
Ive been working with eracknaphobia and other on add-ons so I know my way around python but never tried editing a skin before

Hi Jeroen,

Guilouz & jurialmunkey use Skin Helper for Extrafanart in music visuals. I'm 99.9% sure that's why my local images are not being displayed.

Possible, but no immediate plans for it at the moment.

Favorites can contain any type of media, and there is no way for the skin to determine what type of media is selected. The only way to use the correct aspect ratio for all types of media would result in the artwork not fitting in the designated area. The favourites window is simply too limited with regards to what information it makes available to skins. Using skin helper's favourite media function will provide better presentation in the skin.

The include global_Busy is what you need, which is called in Includes_Window.xml

Intended behaviour is dependent on what type of artwork you have selected in skin settings > artwork > library views > landscape art type:

landscape: no text will be shown if a landscape thumbnail is available as landscape thumbnails contain logo's. If no landscape thumbnail is available, fanart will be shown and text will be displayed as fanart doesn't necessarily contain logo's.
fanart: text will always be displayed. Fanart may have text in it making the text seem redundant, but there is no way for the skin to know this, so it will display text. Apart from that I strongly feel fanart should not contain logo's. Something that used to be enforced at tvdb and tmdb but it seems noone cares these days.
