Not possible unfortunately. I don't think there is any way to change actor thumbs from videoinfo dialog.

Could trailers and videos in extras be made to play in a small window with a background behind and a seek bar? - Loved this in MQ, which I miss in yours.

Hey Jurial, any chance of adding a font that can display asian characters? The Arial font only shows boxes as soon as it writes Japanes characters. Does the roboto font family support them you think? Arial-based is ugly, but I'll of course take it if it displays the writing. The default font in Aura doesn't draw them at all and the Arial leaves unknown boxes.

Unfortunately, it is quite difficult to find good fonts that support CJK and Hebrew. The default font I use is Roboto, so no it doesn't support CJK. Google has a number of complementary "Noto" fontsets for different languages, but they don't really work well in the skin because there isn't a way to specify using a different font for only specific character types (which is what you would do on a webpage, for example) - they also seem to have different spacing and baselines than Roboto, which is really frustrating because it completely messes up alignment.

Can you test the latest git and see if the Arial font now supports CJK? I switched to using the default Kodi arial font. The Arial font in Kodi is "Deja Vu Sans", which is what I was using before for Arial, but I have a feeling that the inbuilt one is modified to support CJK (whereas default Deja Vu Sans does not apparently).

My friend, it works with the replacement Arial. Wonderful! My eyes will have to get used to it, but hell yeah! Perfect! 

Another thing, this is extremely nit picky and I only noticed it and wondered out of curiosity.. The main menu in Aura, I notice that when you move to another item and the font goes to bold - depending on what item you select, the whole main menu broadens. This makes an awful lot of sense, but I was wondering if you could actually add weighting to it so it will actually add spacing between the items so that even if they bold, the whole of the menu stays in place?

This is purely cosmetically and it honestly doesn't bother me other than I noticed it once. Just wanted to throw it out there if you'd think it was a good idea to like.. Wrap some space around each of them to make up for the change to bold.

I love having it up top with out the "Next up..." part present. Then it doesn't interfere with subtitles. I'd love a switch somewhere in the skin to move it up top. For all of us who often needs subtitles cause we are not English (or in this particular case Japanese, lol)


But for now I've just backed up the script file and then it's fixed. ^^ Oh I also made it bigger but that's not a necessity of course.

Great skin!  I didn't know how Horizon could be topped, but this one managed to do it for me.  It's faster and more intuitive.  Visually, it is also very appealing.

The only thing that I wish was brought over from Horizon was the button on the OSD to toggle through the various audio tracks (similar to what the current subtitle button does in Aura).  Is this something you'd consider adding?  As it is, you have to navigate to the audio settings and then open the audio tracks window and then select the next track.  I feel like it's too many steps, and it would be awesome to streamline that process.  Maybe even making it an option because I know not everyone will need it.  

Now that I think about it, same thing with the Bookmarks button.

Okay its installed (nextup Episode notification service) and enabled.
But how to check if its running?
I wonder, because I get no Errors in the log but its also Not showing anything.
Sadly the developer does not Support it anymore I guess..
For some it works.. For some it does not.. Maybe something is missing to get it working?
Sorry for off topic.. But its working for you.. With this skin.. So I hope I can find a solution...

Edit: Okay I get an - 1 Error, so he cant find the tvshow i guess (the developer said, its a sign that the tvshow is not in the library) but it is.. .. .i m using Streams. Dont know if thats the Problem maybe?

Just got back for a while to Estuary MOD v.2 on Leia and I noticed a huge improvement on the widgets side - widgets there now support proper views for custom library nodes, like genres etc. Can we expect the same for Aura ?

Read a bit earlier. https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid2734631 Jurial implemented a rule set of naming for widgets based on genre, company, and so on to ensure the widgets are shown right. I now have a custom genre widget for only my anime videos and it shows the icons and everything. But you can read more in my post with the images, and then his response and his fix. It works!

@jurialmunkey is there any way the skin can force generating thumbs for the widgets? Whenever I add an episode to my library the thumb is not generated before I enter the episodes view so that Kodi forces a thumb. I'm not using that thumb download thing. I hate it. I like the high res Kodi generated ones better but unfortunately the files are not touched from the skin main menu so the thumbs are not generated until I visit the show folder. :| It's sorta sad. I understand if this is a limitation though.

2 questions - 1) is it possible to lower widgets to bottom of screen so top of fanart background is seen & 2) is it possible to select my own single image for background of each item in main menu ?

Yeah, I've tried to fix the spacing issue before, but it isn't possible to get it to align properly. The problem is that, because the font is not monospaced, the amount the width increases when bold is variable depending on how long the word is and what letters are in it.

I'll look into adding a toggle for the position of nextup and let you know when I add it.
