Release Netflix Add-on [input-stream]
I'm talking about Netflix addon. I have a PC with Windows, everything plays flawless up to 4k. I have a problem only with Netflix addon. I'm able to explore Netflix library, play videos but in bad quality.a

I don't know about Windows, but the Netflix add-on in libreelec only plays up to 720p due to the way that DRM is implemented. It might be the same for Windows. Just wait for someone on here to be able to clarify that.
Server: Ubuntu Server 22TB HDD running SAMBA
Kodi: 4 Raspberry Pi 3 running Libreelec -  on the main PC - running Linux Mint

720p is also unavaible on my setup, but the YouTube addon is able to play 1080p with no issuesa

If you get bad quality video in netflix Add-on then you need to change the settings to manual in the inputstream Add-on.

Then you can manually select a better quality stream in the video settings dialogue.

I have been checked manual mode and I can select from 9 resolutions but none of these is 720p or 1080pa

Hi

I am having an issue with playing videos in Netflix. Everytime i select a video, kodi shuts down. I am running Kodi 18 Alpha 2, and Netflix 0.13.10. Anyone know how to fix this?

Here's my kodi log: https://pastebin.com/Cud7zFY4

I am running windows 10

Can you take a screenshot of settings of the add-on and of the inpustream adaptive?
I have been tried on other PC with no luck...

After a bit of more testing it seems like not all content play at 1080p, despite it beeing available as such. Netflix must be enforcing a limit for some of its content.

Thank you for the screenshots. On the same settings I can play videos up to 720p, some videos in 480p. Never 1080p. The YouTube add-on the same inpustream settings plays videos in 1080p without a problem. So it must be something not right with Netflix I suppose.

In the video at the beginning of this thread there's an option to change the Kodi library Netflix movies and shows get added to. I can't seem to navigate to the local filesystem but only to "special://profile". How do I get to the C: drive? There must be a shortcut I'm not aware of

Have been trying to get to the C: drive in Kodi as per the video at the beginning of this thread but can't seem to get to it. Any ideas?

What system are you using this on? Windows? I found that once you get to the top level (going as far back as you can) of the special:// folder using the escape or back key you need to use the delete key to get out of the Kodi directory and into the regular file system folder.
