Have been trying to get to the C: drive in Kodi as per the video at the beginning of this thread but can't seem to get to it. Any ideas?

 What system are you using this on? Windows? I found that once you get to the top level (going as far back as you can) of the special:// folder using the escape or back key you need to use the delete key to get out of the Kodi directory and into the regular file system folder.

How viable is this project at this point might I ask? I got all excited about it and am building a new Windows client to take advantage of it but seeing how stagnant development is over on the Git page has me concerned. Seems all the really good innovative stuff gets abandoned

 Works perfectly, no idea why you have a problem especially on Windows, takes 2mins to setup.

No, not implying that it doesnt work. Just seeing little to no participation from the dev on GIT lately and am concerned that this awesome plugin is going to die.

 It work but it's far from being perfect. Just look at the number of open issue on github.

Is there a way to get forced subtitles to come on automatically? I’ve got forced subtitles selected in Kodi setup but I still have to put Netflix ones on manually.

EDIT: can a mod merge this thread as it maybe useful to others.

 I'm a bit confused by the conversation around pycryptodome and the linked thread. People are saying to ignore the error, but I'm unable to install the Netflix addon due to Kodi throwing a dependency error referencing pycryptodome on Windows 10. Is there something else I should do?

So of course as soon as I get my Windows client up and running to take advantage of this add-on it stops working. Looks like the dev has abandoned it. What are the changes of someone else forking it and fixing what needs to be fixed?

I think I found a temporary work around. Was pursuing the Kodinerds forum thread concerning this add-on. It was all in German but using Google Translate I may have stumbled onto something that seems to be working (at least in the 5 minutes Ive been testing it):

Uninstall the add-on
Reinstall using the repository and choosing the oldest/very first release
Try logging in - it will fail
Update to the newest release
Login again - it worked for me!

Hoping this will last until the add-on can officially be fixed.

The plugin seems to work great. Very nice. Looking forward to the final version when Kodi 18 will be official.

For now I have 3 things that I miss. I'm now testing on Windows with my favorite skin Aeon MQ7. I've added some movies and series to my library (which works very good).

- I can't start a movie or in progress serie from the main menu. (by pressing enter) I need to open the context menu en select play. Or need to open the movies/series library and browse to the movie or serie.
- I can see that a movie is in progress to like 30 min, but I can't continue playing. It starts at the beginning every time.
- Like suggested above, auto subtitles enabled would be great.

That's all i'm missing for now. Maybe some are already fixed somehow. I haven't read the whole topic, sorry.

Im pretty sure that since these are .strm files that resume points do not/will not work.

Anyone else have troubles with netflix buffering, even when net speed is ok?
On my htpc I can stream netflix thru a browser window (at the same res) fine but most of the time using this plugin it plays but stops and buffers every few minutes.

I'm in australia and have a AU netflix subscription, maybe the problem is my account uses AU servers not the US ones? I dont know.
I'll get soon logs soon, but any idea would be helpful.
