Congratulations, the idea to replace tvtunes in Leia is fantastic, using Kodi pointed at my NAS works very well, but I also use my Kodi + Emby addon and it can not identify the themes.mp3 files in the folders.
Any way around this?

I wish i could give you a simple answer but i cant as i have not had any luck using emby the few time i have tried it so maybe someone else can help?

I believe the embykodiconnect addon has a native(direct paths) mode which alowes you to connect directly to your NAS without needing the emby server for playing movies (only for librairy sync).
It does need to have the same network shares as your emby server under the same names available as wel.
I created exactly the same drive mappings on my htpc with kodi en plexkodiconnect (plex version of same emby addon) as on my plex server(even if they went to the a local drive) so kodi and plex see the same link. works perfectly and allowes me to use almost every kodi plugin.
I did loose transcoding options but don't need those on my madvr htpc.

Edit: Just tested with TVMelodies and works as a charm!

Wel i do have some other issue

Apparently the music stops playing randomly when i continu browsing within the same tv show's seasons and episodes when using Kodi 18 Leia latest alfa3. are there more people with these problems?

When it's possible a volume setting for theme music whould be great as well, since most movies are very soft/dynamic so i usualy turn my amp up loud but whould like to be able to have a conversation when browsing ^^.

Edit: Bdw, had the playing issue when using Estuary mod V2 3.0.2.

I got the same issue in Kodi v17.6 Titan.

I'm also looking for a solution for movie-collection-themes which are located in different folders like:
\dvds\JamesBondCollection\DVD1\dvd.vob
\dvds\JamesBondCollection\DVD2\dvd.vob
\dvds\JamesBondCollection\theme.mp3
So my themes are one folder up in the parent directory of the collection. Then it won't play at all. Maybe there is also a solution for this.

For standalone movies it works fine.

I am going to be honest I am in the middle of building my house so any development is very limited, and at the moment I am currently exploring other solutions to some of this but that will be a long time coming before anything get release on it, as again time is very limited on my side. If any of you want to add to this please make a pull request i will be glad to test and merge.

This is a very good idea, I was missing this functionality especially because I am using Emby to manage my media and got all the theme files in my folders and I am actually used to this functionality when browsing medias with Emby.

I have given it a try but it doesn't work well for me: the music stops immediately after the player opens. 
I am on Kodi 17.6 with Emby connector and skin Xperience 1080 (I don't know if this is relevent).

Excuse me for being dumb, do you install this by downloading the zip from github, then install via zip file on Kodi? Because, that's what I did, and now I can't exit from my tv show list lol. Kodi 17.6 Windows 10.

First of all, thanks for this extension.

I do not know if that's the same problem you're talking about, but I've found a bug that makes it crash or block Kodi.

In fact the problem appears when there are several audio themes, for example:
Theme
Theme 2 etc.

TV Melodies tries to read all the themes at the same time ...
Maybe it's the same worry !

Yeah thanks i know how to get it and install it but how do u set it up in kodi to find the themes doesn't seem to be many settings as tv tunes can't see how this works
