I'm quite new on this forum, but searched a long time to find an answer for my problem.
I have a Zotac ZI320 HTPC on which I installed LibreELEC 8.2.5 running Kodi v17 Krypton.
Through HDMI I connect it to my PIONEER VSX-528K receiver which plays audio and sends video to my Samsung 4k TV.
I use audio passthrough for AC3, DTS-HD,...
The problem I'm facing and trying to fix:
When passthrough is enabled (and "Output Configuration" set to "Optimized"/"Best Match"), movies play fine (DD, DTS, DTS-MA, DTS-HD), but Kodi won't give sound from my music files (MP3) (It indicates its playing, but I hear no sound).
When I set "Output Configuration" to "Fixed", and Sample rate to 48kHz, the music from the MP3 files is ok, but this disables passthrough for AC3 and DTS, so I don't get real surround anymore on my receiver when playing movies.
I think I isolated the problem that far and assume that my receiver has a problem with 44.1kHz sample rate from my MP3's... Although I'm not sure because the sample rate setting affects the maximum sample rate, no the actual sample rate...
I there a way to make the 2 things work at the same time?
