I am new here and a novice so if you could direct me to the proper forum or assistance I would appreciate it.

When I open the Kodi App the screen goes black every 6 seconds for a bout 2 seconds and repeats as long as the Kodi app is open.  I have rebooted and reinstalled kodi.  I have opened both on and off of a VPN service.

Not sure if it is the build or if it is Centurylink Prism that disrupts it.

Welcome... It is indeed a bit puzzling to find your first post in a apparently randomly chosen thread on this forum. I've split and moved it to a more generic section for now.

So far I can only guess as to the type of device you have installed Kodi on. Is it perhaps the Prism nettop box?
If not, we will need some more info on the hardware you use. And also the Kodi version/build you are using.
