 It should be number keys 8 and 9 to start and stop recording on the channel you are currently on in the epg.
It defaults to 4 hours if you don't press stop.
I've changed a few things with recording recently so make sure it works before you rely on it.

Is it possible to match a word to listControl.selectItem ?

Lets say id like to match it to "program.channel.id" and make it focus in list.

Sorry to bother you with this but I seem to have broken my autoplaywith. It was working fine but suddenly I am unable to record any scheduled recordings.

It was working fine and the problem seemed to start when I attemped to use the "8" key to start a recording during the show. It failed and then none of my autoplaywith scheduled recordings will work. I have rebooted the machine and restarted kodi but still no autoplaywith recordings.

I am not concerned with the "8" key... I just want to get my autoplaywith to work again.

The only thing I have done is to download the latest version of ffmpeg.exe (I use the static libraries version)

I have pm'd you the link to the debug log.

The recording was scheduled for 17:30 with 1 minute pre-padding so I have included in the log 17:28 - 17:30

Please advise if you can determine what broke.

 Using your observation, I went back to an older version of ffmpeg (2/18) and I am getting a slightly better response. I will test and report back.

 You can run down the ControlList and do a getListItem on every item, then do a getProperty etc.
But that is overkill as TVGF makes the list in the first place.

The easiest way is to attach the list of things to the class the list is made in and just index that.
eg
look for
listControl.addItems(items)
add those items to self
self.some_kind_of_items = items

I can verify that on my windows 10 with the latest beta build of Kodi 18, the  Feb 2018 version of ffmpeg.exe is working properly when recording both for autoplaywith and for the immediate ("8" key) record. Apparently the  4.1 or later version of ffmpeg will not work.

Having a bit of an issue with logos in TV Guide Fullscreen.   I've set a few channel logos manually and in the past they would continue to show after an xml (guide) update and I'd only lose them if I did a reset.  Lately however, I seem to be losing them after a guide update as well.  Any thoughts as to why that might be occurring?

Settings\Logos\Keep Last Channel Logo Mapping

Try making a local copy of the logos using
Settings\Backup\Download All Channel Logos
They are saved in the addon_data folder.

Thanks, that seemed to work.  Also copy the .db file once I had finalized my setup just in case.

Strange new problem using TGFS. For some reason my iptv stream will only play for about 5 seconds then stops and goes back to the guide. The same channel played from "TV > Channels" in the main menu will play properly without interruption. It is only when I play the stream through TGFS that it will only play for a few seconds.

Any idea what I may check to resolve this issue?

What sort of a link is it?
Does it go through an addon?
You can try the alternative streaming methods or turn off the osd.
