Release Netflix Add-on [input-stream]
(2019-01-14, 20:34)sawyer53 Wrote: how do I fix this error?

A lot of users are getting this on the Nvidia Shield after only playing a few videos succesfully, the only way to fix it that I know of is to re-install the Add-on.

If anyone knows whats going on then please post. Not seen anyone with a debug log file yet so hard to diagnose.

This is working great, for the most part!

I'm able to play 1080p videos of many shows incl. The Clone Wars, Archer,... When I tried to watch Family Guy though, I didn't get 1080p but 540p video. When I watch this series on the same computer through the Netflix Windows 10 App and look at the stream info, it does show a nice 1080p stream. Any idea why it's not showing through Kodi? Even when I manually select the video stream, the option is not there (only 3 different streams show)

Thanks, that clears things up perfectly. It's a pity, but it is what it is...

Well, this is disappointing! I can't even go back to the stable 13.21 anymore. The same problem persists. Have uninstalled and removed all related settings, rebooted and installed the stable plugin but can't get past the login screen anymore Sad

Thanks, I have some repositorys and apps that will sure get me the evil eye here. I'm not in the mood to uninstall these things at the moment, I will have to live without Netflix for the time being. Hopefully a newer version of the plugin solves the problem.

hm...I need to explain myself a bit. My "quote" disapperad from my previous post.

My problem, as a previous poster also reported, is that after upgrading to 0.14.2 it says I need to check my credentials. No matter what I do I can't get past this step and, yes, the credentials have been double and triple checked.

Try to re-install 0.14.2 and uninstall it using this method, and install 0.13.21.

If still not working, upload the debug log without uninstalling any other add-ons, if i could not help you, other members may be able to help you, better to uninstall 0.13.21 first, then install 0.14.2, and 0.14.2 works fine for me in Windows 10.

In case of any error from installing 0.13.21 over 0.14.2, try to delete the file "settings.xml" in

C:\Users\Essam\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\userdata\addon_data\plugin.video.netflix

Try to install this version, its identical to 0.13.21, i just gave it a new name "NetflixPro", it will install in a different folder, so no fear from any problems with the older files, and no need to uninstall anything, i tested it and it worked just great.

Hi! I just upgraded to Kodi 18 and installed this addon. I looked in this thread and on github but I can't find the solution. My problem is I can't login, it says to 'check my credentials.' I'm on version 0.13.21 which should be stable according to the posts above me, but in my case it's not working. I checked the log, no errors, thought maybe I was missing a dependency or something, but I guess not.. I'm running Leia RC5 on Nvidia Shield in case that matters..
Hope someone here has the answer!

That's really nice of you! I tried and unfortunately it's the same. I also SSH'd in to look at the plugins folder and the netflix plugin is fully removed (folder and all) when  I uninstall it via the suggested method. Here's my log: http://ix.io/1yuP

I'm thinking that perhaps this problem started when I installed 14.2 "over" 13.21 and not uninstalled it first...

After more testing installing 0.14.2 over 0.13.21 was OK for me, installing 0.13.21 over 0.14.2 was the reason for getting error message, solved by deleting "settings.xml" in the folder above.

Does anyone have 4K working on their Android boxes? I can get HDR and even Atmos to work, but only 1080p streams available.
