Hi folks,

Longtime Kodi user …  not good at reporting bugs at GitHub so I hope I can ask for some help here.

My system is win10.  I had Kodi 17.x and did the upgrade to Kodi 18.0.  I have Kodi in startup, so it boots into Kodi directly.   I use profiles (7 of 'em), so my profiles menu comes up first.  I select "main", and that takes me into my main Kodi screen, where I run Confluence.

PROBLEM:  Confluence looks and works as it should (as it did in 17.x) EXCEPT that the main horizontal bar has no items in it.  Submenu items display fine.

WORKAROUND:  I log off main, go back to profiles, reselect main, and when confluence displays again, this time all main menu items are there.

Questions: 
* Anyone else seen this?  any solutions?
* Will confluence no longer work in 18?

Ya.. known issue unfortunately.

Good news is there is a workaround.  Basically have the skin reload via the autoexec when you log in.  You barely notice it but it resolves the issue.  Details below.

FYI... I've seen it happen with the stock skin too.

I'm already used to copying my advancedsettings.xml file and recreating my profiles...  what's one more file to add … (… times 7 profiles, times 5 machines… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯    )

Sad to hear that profiles is such a low priority, when it is such a cool feature for large collections.

Ya I heavily use profiles too... but the issue in Kodi 18 with the master profile makes me stick with 17.6.

If you log off to the main screen it loads the master profile.  I used that as the guest profile and when you start the pc it will load the guide data and start playing a channel.

Now in 18, whenever I log out to the main screen it starts playing a channel.

I'll just wait until they fix it.
