Use a clean Kodi build. Then try IAGL.
I'm not sure how to remove them

Like I replied to the previous post, I don't see how to edit my post.  Is my account too new?  I see zero options for editing or deleting my posts.

Yes, it is too new. As a Junior member, some options are not yet available to you such as editing posts, PM's, Reputations etc.

A few more posts and another couple of weeks and you will have them.

Hello, I am 90% the way to having this setup, its great really love this part of Kodii.

I want to add a couple of games from the IAGL into the C64 games list that currently are not there, for example https://archive.org/details/Back_to_the_...Imageworks. I am trying to edit the XML file to do this, but I'm not the best at it, it seems it requires rom crc etc to be able to do this, I can't seem to find any information like that or where to add the actual URL for that one game. How do i go about adding one extra game to an existing game XML. I don't want to recreate the whole list or start over.

Is there an update list button or something similar to check the IAGL database to add new options.

I have changed the setting for C64 emulator only to download to a different location and do not download if already there, is it then similar to this and can i point the XML to that folder some how? I could then manually download the rom from the IAGL website place in that folder?

Thank you

Well that list is one of the bigger ones (4000+ games listed), I'm surprised some are missing. I added this one, so it will be in the next addon update.

The game lists are checked for new versions on every update, and the user is asked if they want to update or not.

In general, games can be added to the existing list(s) so long as they're of a similar format and launch in the same way. This one fits that bill so it's been added. In the future, if you want a particular game added, you can submit a pull request or issue on github. Here's the format used to give you an idea of whats needed (rom crc is not a required field, just a nice to have).  You can also make your own lists, see the wiki here.

Thank you very much zachmorris,

you do great work, I had tried to follow the make your own lists and got lost probably me not you. and I thought there must be a way of adding a game myself and not requiring to submit a pull request for you to follow up on. The format used link you have put up to the change for the next update is a bit clearer than when I was in the XML locally, Ill follow that and see if I can also do it it prior to the update.

Thanks again.

No, there isn't, but if you direct RCB or AEL to scan the folder IAGL is saving games to (either the default location or your user defined location), then they would be shown in RCB/AEL.

IAGL version 2.1.0 is available. Changes include:
Added libarchive support - should resolve many issues android users had with this addon (hopefully)
This is the biggest change, and I think should resolve a lot of issues Android users were having. vfs.libarchive is now an optional dependency for IAGL, but I highly recommend you install it if it's available for your system.

Added forced viewtype options in addon settings (similar to Netflix addon)
Fixed download progress bug, progress should be accurate now
Updated language translation (es roliverosc)
Update unicode xml bug in android systems causing download path error
Add advanced setting to silence search and random query warnings (for widget users)
Fixed bug for search-all lists
Updated URLs for https use rather than http where possible
Fix bug in addon dat file update process
Updated Wizard

Updated / New Lists:
N64
MAME 2003
MAME 2003 Plus
Best of MAME 2003
Atari 2600
Amstrad CPC
Vectrex
ScummVM
Best of Point and Click
Game and Watch

I'm not sure I understand the question. The addon is 33MB compressed and ~100MB uncompressed. The dat files are only in the userdata folder after the addon updates, or are you seeing something different?

After you run the addon, the files in the addon folder should be automatically deleted. If they don't get deleted, can you provide a debug log?

Sure, let me try fresh.
