Playback is pretty muck OK on HD recordings & live TV off a mythtv backend (Ubuntu server & clients). Server and clients are running Ubuntu 18.04
There is one lone, older i3 CPU based client has Intel graphics.
Playing HD recordings and LiveTV on it seems OK, with only the slightest hint of "stuttering", a little noticeable during high action sports etc.
However, SD (756) playback is unwatchable.
The log is showing a lot of "CRenderManager::WaitForBuffer - timeout waiting for buffer"
Any help appreciated. In the meantime we're back to using the mythtv frontend with "VDAPU HighQuality" - working fine.
