Can you go back one step and show me how you end up at the screen in the first image.

Please read the Usage section for the add-on in the wiki. You are using it contrary to correct usage.

I am unsure what you believe I am doing wrong here. I have followed the wiki as directed. Back one step is having a movie highlighted and opening the context menu (C or right-click) and selecting "Extras".
My folder structure and scraping is as described. It works the same as VideoExtras did. Nothing in the embedded Extras folders is scraped into the library. The addon accesses that sub-folder and displays the contents but then Kodi tries to scrape any video item selected as new media titled "Extras".

Are you using a keyboard or remote control?
What button are you pressing?
If a remote control, have you customised your keymaps? How?

I am working on my main PC, all inputs are through the keyboard or mouse.
I navigate the movies with the direction arrows, find one I know has the extras folder and hit "c" on the keyboard to bring up the context menu. I scroll down to the "Extras" option and hit "enter". That brings up the menu option in my first image.
I scroll down to the extra video I want to watch and again hit "enter" and get a pop-up action that is the second image posted above.
I am them presented with a new menu of options to select the name of the video I am attempting to scrape to watch, the third image above.
The addon is installed with the AdvancedSetings.xml file according to the wiki. I have followed the usage instructions from the wiki. It does not work as per the wiki. I'm looking for a very simple, easy to add skin support option to access the extra content I've collected for various media. The old addon did this well but it no longer works. This new addon hasn't functioned as detailed for me yet and I have still not found any information on how to integrate it into a skin. Using the context menu option isn't how I'd like to utilize this as I am not the sole user of Kodi in my home.

After a bit of trial and error I have discovered what is causing it, and thanks because now I can adjust the wiki page so others are aware.

The scraping action is not the add-on, but Kodi core. It is receiving a keystroke that is equivalent to i on your keyboard. There are a few reasons why this would happen, but once I exclude the least likely I am left with this...
This setting... 1.1 Default select action (wiki)
I think you have it set as Show Information. Change the setting back to Play and it should stop the problem you are experiencing.
Let me know if that is the solution.

That solution is likely to work, however it's not what I am trying to achieve. I don't want the default action to be play, I want the information screen. I like the information screen. From that information screen is where I want to play the movie, access the movie's trailer, launch using CinemaVision, edit any info/artwork and access the extras.
I will continue to look for a working solution that meets my needs. Thanks for looking into this issue as it will be beneficial to others.

Ok.
I did also point you to this... https://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Special_Features
Might be better suited to your needs.

one option is to hit "i" to get the info screen from view screen

@Karellen Thanks for the suggestion for the Special Features addon. Unfortunately it does not appear to be as simple to utilize as I was hoping and requires rescanning your library any time anything new is added. Previously the app used would look for the Extras subfolder automatically andr return the contents or a message that no folder was found. No additional scraping required.
@Edworld Your option creates 3 separate processes for what I had previously working under 1 simply workflow. That is what I am still looking to achieve.

I will note for anyone struggling to figure out why you are not seeing your 'Extras' items in TV shows or movies just seeing the 'Search on Youtube' and none of your content. If you have multiple sources of TV shows or movies and have the same TV show in both directories that could make you extras items not show up. I discovered since I have a external server from my home network with a directory of shows as the same as my local machine and once I removed the second TV show directory then my extras showed up.

Hello,
when i click on "Search on Youtube" then the extra-addon search "Moviename Extra", so the addon put the Word "Extra" on end.
Can i change the word to "Trailer".
So i want search on Youtube with "Moviename Trailer" and not with "Moviename Extra".
I need that for old Movies for that kodi not find any Trailer.
Thanks

@asselnik
Extras is not a Trailer add-on. Use one of the dedicated trailer add-ons...

Thanks for Reply.
So i have the problem, that a few movies dont show me an trailer, here an example:
And when i go to the Extra Menu and search in youtube i find some trailer.
So i have test many Trailer-Addons, but there is no Addon where i can search from the movie contex menu.
I only can start the Trailer-Addon and search in there, but i want only the trailer from my local movies. I hope you understand what i mean :-)
