Repository releases are located here. I have no regular release plan, as this is just my idle time hobby.

Hi Zach:

First of all, I have to say your addon is terrific, It completely changed my experience with my HTPC device, considering my HTPC is my main and only TV entertainment at home. Now my issue. I have been experiencing this and I haven't figure out how to solve it. I have configured IAGL on an AMD x64, Lubuntu-18.04-based machine using Retroarch as the external launcher. It took a while configuring it well, but now I can tell I can run almost every console with titles available in the IAGL catalog. The issue I am experiencing is that, after quitting a game from Retroarch, it comes back to Kodi but I completely lose the ability to control it using the keyboard. My Yatse app in my smartphone and my PS2 game control work very well, but my wife and my little son like controlling and searching for content using the keyboard. The only way to recover keyboard control in Kodi is restarting Kodi or restarting the machine. Both alternatives are annoying since that machine is rarely turned off (we just turn the TV set off). It is worth mentioning I have activated the option to pause Kodi every time I launch a game.

I would really appreciate your help.

Thanks in advance.

I've got no suggestions here, but your debug log may shed some light on whats happening. Does not pausing and or exiting Kodi all-together work?

I will try activating the exiting Kodi option, or not even pause Kodi at all, because exiting Kodi will make every time I quit a game I will have to start Kodi again. Actually, my debug log doesn't provide too much information. After the let's play message, it logs the next action within Kodi, without providing any information on keyboard behavior or whatever happens immediately after resuming Kodi.

I will try tomorrow and I will make my comments on the results.

Thanks again.

You'd have to turn on debug logging in the settings page located at Settings > System Settings > Logging to get all the debug info

OK, I will give it a try. I tried not pausing nor exiting Kodi but still it can't recover keyboard control. I also noticed that it is necessary to pause Kodi, at least, when launching Retroarch in my system, otherwise, it affects emulation performance, particularly when emulating more advanced consoles such as Sega Saturn or Dreamcast.

I think Retroarch is taking over keyboard control and when quitting, Kodi is not able to recover it, since keyboard patterns are loaded when starting Kodi. Now, the same should happen with Joypad, but it doesn't. Kodi is perfectly capable of recovering Joypad control.

I will try to find out what's going on with the debug logging. I usually keep it off since it puts a permanent debug dialog on the upper left corner, which is quite annoying when watching movies or TV shows.

Thanks

There is no scraping / organizing capability for local libraries, for that you want to use AEL or RCB. You can setup IAGL to work offline. See here.

I've never heard of Retrox, but assuming you know what command line commands are required, you can use any emulator you want. See here.
