Switch between HD and 4k versions of a movie?

Hello,
for my movie and tv library i am trying to find the optimal solution to choose between HD and 4k versions of the content. What i am currently doing is seperating the versions into different folders on my drive and having them in different Tabs in Kodi. But i would prefer to have only one tab instead and be asked if i want to play the HD or 4k version of the content. Is there any plugin or workaround that can do that?
