I am using Add-on Rom Collection Browser, I want to use the default skin of this addon and not the MQ skin, how do I do it?

This skin is barely compatible with any version of RCB, many things are broken. I have been waiting for an answer to very basic questions about it. Would be nice if the powers that be would take the time to answer my questions like they answer everyone else.

the current stable version 2.2.3 (which hasn't been submitted to the Kodi repo yet) provides the option to select either Estuary as the RCB-skin or you are able to select "defauilt" which points to Estuary as well. Grab the current version from here: https://github.com/maloep/romcollectionbrowser

3rd:
if you don't or can't grab the version from GitHub, then my answer above is still valid. Change the skin manually to a supported skin before using the add-on.

While I do appreciate your response... my comment was only inspired by your answer to an RCB question. My reference was to a question I asked soon after the release of this version of the skin. A question I repeated after the skin was updated. A question that was skin related. I was led to believe I would be provided an answer and never was. In case you are inclined... My question was why gameplay videos won't play in multiplex view using ANY version of RCB with this skin. And why multiplex veiw selection isn't remembered after exiting. It always returns to the default. I have a work-around for the latter. I have noticed an abundance of answers to seemingly trivial addon related questions answered  here in the past months but I can't transition to Lea without an answer to mine. Thank You.

Here's my setup : NUC with LibreElec 9.0.2 and Kodi 18.2. Fresh install.

I first setup sources and regional, then i install Aeon MQ 8 from the Kodi repo.

I have created two profiles : "Parents" and "Kids", new configuration for the two.

I connect on "Parents", change settings like this :
- change "Movies" submenu for Playlist renamed "Movies" with new background, widgets movies (standard)
- change "TV Shows" submenu for Playlist renamed "TV Shows" with new background, widgets tv shows (standard)
- change "Music" submenu for Playlist renamed "Marvel" with new background, widgets movies "standard"
- etc.

I disconnect from "Parents" and connect to "Kids", same operations.

When i disconnect from "Kids" and reconnect to "Parents", skin had reset (Movies, TV Shows, Music, etc.).

Hi all,

I am running OSMC/Kodi 18.3/RPI3 with the AEON-MQ8 skin. First I want to say that it is a great piece of work. The visuals are stunning and rich in presentation. Very, very nice! Thx for the effort on this. I had been using Confluence on the previous version of OSMC/Kodi but could not get that working on the latest OSMC/Kodi and decided to try AEON-MQ8. Glad I found it!

Here's my question...when I was using Confluence and playing music files (from my Win 10 system on my subnet) there was a time remaining (or was that running time) bar w/the time info for the song/album shown on the bottom of the screen. I have not been able to find that "feature" to enable it on this version of Aeon. Did I miss that setting somewhere? Is it an available feature? Or do I have to download an addon to get it? Or maybe make some kind of xml-file mod for it to work?

Hi,

I too have experienced some very slow widget refreshing behavior. The default widget that is on the TV Shows menu is horribly slow for me. I don't now remember what it's name was, but I switched to using the Episodes - In progress widget and it is very fast and seems to give the same functionality. Just what I've observed.

Once again a very nice looking skin.

I can't imagine that I'm the first person to ask this, but, thus far, I haven't figured out the right keywords to track down the post if they have.

Is there any way to make the focal Item on the main menu be in the CENTER / MIDDLE of the screen (as it was in previous versions of the skin), rather than off to the left? 

I've been using Krypton with MQ 7 on all my HTPCs for ages (with LOTS of customizations, bells & whistles), but want to move up and try out the recent 64bit version of Leia.  To that end, I've got a clean pc, and started from scratch.  I, of course, would love to stick my favorite skin, but, the offset of the focal point to the left, is driving me crazy.

I've got it set for Fixed mode, but, unless my old eyes are just missing something, I can't figure out a way around this.  Please tell me I'm missing something simple.  :-)

This is the final "fix"... https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/16342#...-512037602 and streamdetails are no longer updated by simply playing the movie. It needs to be refreshed into the library.

Installation of the colored studio icons package resource.images.studios.coloured-0.0.15 is failing for me. Is there a corrected version?
