Howdy!

I've been trying to get some clarity on this online and on this forum, and failed. Sorry if this has already been asked and answered.

Would it be possible to ignore the events from keyboard/remote while playing the video and the OSD is not shown? In other words how to prevent NextChapter and PreviousChapter completely?

Remove any unwanted functions from the section <FullscreenVideo> in the keymap, so for up/down remove these https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/blob/master...#L370-L371 from the keyboard.xml also see https://kodi.wiki/view/Keymap for more info on creating a custom keymap.
