Pluto is working for me through the browser but not through Kodi (on the same PC)

Channels menu not working with .. >>Next appearing when Channels clicked
OnDemand will bring up Comedy, News, Sports menus etc but when clicked they just bring up ..
Guide not working, just brings up  ..  when clicked

Get an error saying "Welcome back myusername" with a number 1 after it ie joeblow1
Get another error "Some channels not available in your region"

Log doesn't show errors, not sure what the issue is.  As for your displayname it comes from Pluto.TV you mush have added a "1" to your display name when registering.

When I log into the website, it works fine (there is no 1 in my username).  I seem to recall I had the issue with Locast as well and the fix you implemented worked.

As for the added "1" to the displayname... it must be an internal reference Pluto.TV appends to some account names (Possibly Duplicates). I don't see a 1 on mine and the code speaks for itself.

I'm only interested if there are German channels available from Pluto.TV's website that you are not receiving from the plugin... otherwise geo-restrictions should be enforced.

I'm not interested in circumventing geo-restrictions, my job consists of major travel, weekly, I just wanna get what I am supposed to get where I'm at.  Multiple users here are seeing a 1 appended to their usernames and can't get beyond that authentication.

If you are in the 'US' the plugin should display all channels available in the US. If you are in Germany 'DE' it should do the same. Pluto.TV does not offer its full lineup worldwide.
As previously stated if you are not receiving a regional channel that is available via Pluto.TVs website let me know and I'll look into it.
In your case, if you are traveling and notice the pluto.tv website via your current region offers channels you don't see via the plugin... let me know

The "1" has no influence during the login/authentication process. Its superficial and meant to greet you at login... Honestly, it's low on my todo list because it has no impact on plugin's usage.

I know you weren't referring to me about geolocation.

I have just been telling you what I am seeing, the addon does not work for me, I attached my log and you can't see anything wrong.  I get a "some channels not available in your region error" and aside from the Channels, On Demand and Guide Menus coming up, nothing works.  There is no problem with accessing Pluto from the website.

I  haven't been trying to bust your nads over this and frankly this addon is not worth the grief being put into it and I'm talking about the content and not your addon.  I am just trying to extract every working source I can.  I'm getting greedy because I know this is the way to go and not the illegal addons.  I figure if I can get at least once decent channel out of an addon and put the good ones in my favourites it's worth it but Pluto isn't really like that and it has annoying commercial placement so maybe it's time for me to stop flogging this dead horse.

Has there been any progress on this addon?  I checked on this after powering up my media player this morning and still had the retrieving error when trying to load the stations.
I can see that it looks like the application logs you in when you start up, or at least it says it does when you open it.  That might be just the blurb you mentioned earlier about the nicety of the automatic "welcome back <username> 1" (yes it still does add the 1 after your username) but this might not actually be authenticating your credentials to pluto.tv until you actually highlight and select "Channels/OnDemand/Guide"?
That is where it seems to generate the failure retrieving the channels.  I know the credentials are correct as I went to the actual website on a pc and signed in successfully.  I went back to kodi and cleared out the credentials, restarted kodi, and then re-added them back in - still got the failed to authenticate.
