KODI 16.1 RC2 running on 2011 Mac Mini MacOS/X 10.7.5 ( old hardware, so old KODI )
KORE running on Nexus 6, Android 7.1.1
Music files are managed in an iTunes folder structure on the Mac.
KODI is setup to rescan the iTunes folder on startup. This works.
Here's what happens:
- after adding music files to the iTunes folders, I restart KODI to cause it to rescan music files. KODI can see the new album and play it.
- on the KORE app on the Android device, the album and it's songs are not visible.
- I searched:
- albums by title
- artists
- songs by title
No dice.
I have done / tried these things:
- restarted KODI - this worked. The album will play from the KODI gui.
- restarted the KORE app on Android device.
- restarted the Android device.
Does anyone have any suggestions ?
Thanks
