This has been brought to my attention from the developer and has been acknowledged and will be fixed with the next release. Some how i managed to break Kodi's import system . Until then if this is effecting you then stop using this addon and let me know if you would like to test the addon so we dont have this issue in the future.

Just a quick update/request.

After a complete rewrite I think I am back up to 90 percent working. I have moved to Kodi 19 and am experiencing some glitched that I haven't been able to quite track down just yet, not sure if it is something I have introduced or if it is just the beta version of K19. So with that I have also change the add-on name to screensaver.evolve.apple because this isn't just aerial videos anymore and as they add more in the future I hope that I can continue to added them to this. So with that once I release the new version you will need to uninstall/ delete the old one. Or if you want I can add a clean up script and erase it for you.

With that being said I am at a point we're I can either release what I have now and y'all can test it over the holidays. Or I can continue working on it and trying to polish out the new issues. I still don't have a lot of time so my troubleshooting will be limited to short sessions I would rather just put it out there and have y'all report back and help me make this thing something that operates smoothly.

Lastly the screensaver will be limited to local video playback on Android until something is changed with the video players url request as I have tried the best I can to get it to work and still failed.

So with that I know the holidays are coming up, so I wish you all safe travels, a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's.

Just started using this screensaver and really like it. Is there a way that when music radio such as 'Pandoki' (Pandora) is playing that the screensaver will work - like the ATV? I've tried and only the standard visualization will play and can find no settings to alter this.

Thanks for the quick response. Family and I enjoy having music with the aerial screensaver as a background when we're just sitting around - reading or something. Guess I'm just relegated to the ATV for now.

I know it isn't supported but I had to use kodi 17.6 on my android box because of not marking the episodes as watched. I am using a simple playercorefactory.xml file to play videos on mx player. I was using evolve before on my 18.5 and there was no issues at all. But with the krypton when the screensaver kicks in
there is only way to stop it and that is killing the process altogether. Is there anything I can do for this?

Without see a log file I wouldn't know where to start. But either way I am releasing a new version in a few days so maybe try with that once I get it released. In general I will not support Kodi 17. There is enough changes between Kodi 18 +19 that will keep me occupied.

Happy New Year to all, how you enjoyed your celebration!

Time for my new year new me so here it goes. This year this addon's name has changed and at the moment will only completely work under Kodi 19. I have some backwards compatibility with some features but as for now consider the old version to be for Kodi 18 and I will no longer support it.

Also Streaming will not be supported on Android simply because I cant control Kodi's request headers, but you can download them and stream them from a network share.

Once installing the new version "screensaver.evolve.apple" you can uninstall the old "screensaver.evolve.aerial".

With the new version I have added a custom logger that log file will be located in the addon_data/screensaver.evolve.apple/evolve.log under your user profile. This will give me exactly what the addon is doing as it does it or until kodi crashes.
I will only require the kodi log for debug as of now but i want you let you know there is more going on.

This version at the moment should work as the old version only thing that has not been added back in is the "POWER SAVING" part I will add it back but haven't taken the time as I actually ended up rewriting this a couple times due to the differences in the kodi versions i would get to a point and get frustrated. either way that is not the point.

Point is it is up and ready to be tested again.
