Arctic: Zephyr 2
Hi @jurialmunkey,
I discovered AZ2 for a few days and I find it really promising.
Is there a chance that the skin will be responsive for 21/9 screens like Estuary ?
I was previously on Aeon Nox, then Titan, then Estuary Mod, but I think the final AZ2 version will meet my expectations even more. I have some difficulties to display 3D flag.
My files are named the same way from Kodi Helix and I have never had this problem before :

moviename.year.bluray.3d.1080.dts.5.1.mkv

Some aesthetic suggestions :
1. replace the vertical bar separating the information with a bullet (this would be more in line with the general design and the rounded corners)
2. have the possibility of removing the name of the covers on the wall views since it is already displayed on the cover itself, but also in the title of the selected film.
3. Placing the tagline just above the synopsis in the information seems more logical to me
4. review flags, views and informations for Advanced Emulator Launcher which deserves better integration.

Congratulations for all the work accomplished.
Soo.. Now we just update from the repo? No more sweet changelog? D':

I was wondering this as well! A changelog would be appreciated Smile
Really nice skin and has all the features and customisation I could ask for. Great job...!

Just a quick question: I'm on the latest release, but I seem to have an issue with the manage function. Say I'm within the movie library and I would like to change the artwork for a particular file within the library. I see the 'manage' button on the right of the options menu, but when I click on it, the screen will dim slightly but the manage sub-menu itself won't appear at all. I can tell the sub-menu has been activated since I hear the Kodi sounds when moving the cursor keys up and down, and if I blindly click OK the function will be triggered, but I have no idea what I'm clicking on since there's nothing displayed on the screen besides the background movie info...

I tried the default Kodi skin, as well as Aura, and have no issues there, so I'm not sure if the problem is on my end or related to the AZ2 skin. Could anyone kindly help me out? Thanks in advance...

It will help if you tell what platform you're on, since.. Manage works fine for me on Windows. So please, leave all the details you can when reporting an error. That will help Jurial help you. Smile See ya!

Thanks for the response...

I'm primarily using Kodi on a Qnap NAS (TS-251+), attached to my TV via HDMI, although I've also got it installed on a Windows 10 PC and the issue is the exactly the same...

I've tried playing around with all the skin settings, and even resetting to it's default layout, but nothing, still no manage menu...

I'm pretty sure its a Kodi feature enhancement change and I guess I could implement it with playlists but I've always wondered why years was implemented and decade support wasn't.

Try the addon library node edtior, it should help you in that case Wink

Yeah, node editor can do this. Create a parent node called decades, then create nodes inside for each decade.

Its interesting that decades were mentioned though, because I actually have custom windows in AZ2 for decades (and genres and bunch of other nodes) -

Hi, where would I find these nodes?

Thanks again for this awesome skin.
Thumbs Up
My KODI PC crasht, so I had to re-install everthing.

Because Fuse.Neue didn't work with the newest Kodi version I changed to Arctic: Zephyr 2.

I just wanted to express my thanks to the creator.

I tweaked the MusicOSD a bit to make it look like Fuse.Neue and added mp3-tags (year, album, track and genre). And the next song that will be played.

Image

Just one question. Can I change the way the lyrics are shown? Instead of one multi-coloured line I would like to see multiple lines with the relevant one highlighted. In a transparent frame. I've seen lyrics like that in other skins. It would be cool if we can choose the way the lyrics are shown from within the settings of the skin. But a tip how (and in which files) to change this would also be welcome.

Hello... You can do that with the lyrics just by disabling the 'video lyrics' option inside the skin settings menu; no need to change any files or code... Wink

Just wondering; how did you add the mp3 tag info to the MusicOSD? Would it be possible for you to share the code here? Thanks...
I see that the skin keeps releasing updates but where do I find the changelogs? Github just shows updates til 0.9.55
@jurialmunkey
Have been using AURA for a long time and have been following AZ2.
This last week i decided to do a deep dive and set it up.
I did not get the Sub-menu Hub thing at first but now i find it very useful.
I especially like it for addons like YouTube and the Sling Addon.

The only issue has been font size. They look great on my laptop but are unreadable on our TV's.
So I have been working on a BIG TEXT version. All is going well other than Home page widget labels.

Widgets are a complete mystery to me. Would you be so kind as to point me to where I can find and change the widget labels and names?

Example widget: Movies|Ad Astra

Thank you in advance and thank you for yet another beautiful skin.
anyone using this with emby? How do I get the home screen to populate content from embyCon addon?
@prynn
I do not use embycon, I use the emby for kodi addon.
I set up all my Home menu items manually.
Linking an Emby playlist (Anime) to a Home menu (ANIME) and so on.
This works very well.
Hope this helps.

I just haven't made a release in a while because the last updates have all been PRs from other people.
Most of my free time has gone into TMDbHelper.
Arctic Fuse 2 - Alpha now available. Support me on Ko-fi.

Thanks for the tip. I feel a bit foolish now... ; )

I tweaked the Includes_OSD.xml (instead of MusicOSD).

I also changed <width> and <height> to 300 in OSD_Music_Info_Image_Square for a slightly bigger album cover which is a 'high' as the title (year) information.

And I had to shift the lyrics up to stay clear of the tag information.
In script-cu-lrclyrics-main.xml under control type="group"
      <top>150</top>
      <bottom>300</bottom>
