All of these are fresh installs of 18.5

Ok so the problems I was referring to in the previous posts, is the version from the Evolve repository, Evolve: Apple Screensavers, v 1.1.2

If I try the repository Apple TV: Aerial Screensavers, v 1.0.13 - I try to install and get
2020-02-11 18:41:48.587 T:1156   ERROR: CCurlFile::Stat - Failed: SSL connect error(35) for https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Evolve...s/icon.png

When trying the add-on itself v 1.0.11 and not from the repository, it's still got problems but of a slightly different nature.
There's less options to configure, but oddly on the General tab there's 3 options.

While media is playing there's 2

Then there's a warning about selecting only 1 download location, and below that there's a Download Videos Now option, which when I click on it, I get an error telling me to select a download location on the general tab, which as stated, there's no option to do so. 

Not sure where to go with this. Anyone?

Try the K19 Version that is the one i will be supporting. As for the K18 i will not support it, what i will say is if you actually set the download location in the first tab then it should work. it has worked for eveyone else on here and you already told us that streaming works. as far as you downloading the videos manually your self i can tell you that will not work as every video is named differently then the way you will directly download them. also the belong in a specific folder not all in one big folder.

Glad you got it working and the good thing is every addon will have to upgraded to K19 at some point so it Plex for kodi will start working in the coming months at least.

So unfortunately you can not have it both ways. In order to allow navigation and data on command I had to set a exit button which is simply pressing back or esc once or twice depend on we're it is in the process. And with it being a video it may take a minute to stop I find that the case on all videos with k18 there is no immediate stop. Another thing to consider is your on a pi. This add-on is another script all in its self so the extra process maybe slowing down the response your looking for.

I looked thru the regular log file and found nothing. Attached is the debug log file and as far as I can tell, no errors. Just not running the download.

Do you have locations enabled that you want to download. I do not see anything in the log showing that you pressed the download now button. also are you sure the location it is downloading to is writable? Is the location local i have not tested to saving to a remote location.

Internal storage is NOT large enough to download the screensavers!

Yes. It is a local folder on the machine and yes all locations are enabled. I hit Download and hear the "wosh" sound effect but nothing happens. I figure it it wasn't "writeable" folder there would be errors in the log.

I will try to do it in the default skin. Currently I'm using the Aeon Nox skin, not like that should matter.

I am using my own modded version of the OSMC Skin, i can tell you from experience a usb thumb drive is the way to go. NFS for the screensaver is flaky, share goes to sleep, screensaver starts, sometimes it crashes, locks up, lag.

ALL screensavers in HD NOT 4K=15.81GB

No idea why its not triggering the download. There is 10GB of space so it should at least try to start to download the files and then crap out when it runs out of space. Weird part is log doesn't even show i triggered the button to download.

When I get home tonight, I'll put it in debug mode and look/upload the log from that.

Are you selecting download now? I still do not see where your downloading the videos to begin with.

Yes I am. I select"download now" and press enter on my keyboard. I hear kodi make the sound but then nothing happens.
