#61
PKC appears to have an issue atm, when installing on a fresh kodi (18.4 ) , I can install plugin master,I link it using a PC and its says successfully linked on PC , but on kodi it vontinues to ask me to link , its not accepting that I have linked it to my server, tried a couple of skins an all the same , even trid kodi on the same device as my server and it still doesnt work. Treid getting the plugin from your repo , but after installing repo and then attempting to install plugin it says , "could not connect to repo " ?
Plugin now appears to be down , won't install either. Version am getting from github is 2.10.4

You should install PKC only from the official repo, https://github.com/croneter/PlexKodiConnect No guarantees otherwise!!

It's all fine and working here. I need a debug lot file from you, see here: https://github.com/croneter/PlexKodiConn...port-A-Bug

Yes I have tried the repo as we,, . Just trying again , issue must be my end , when i open kodi on another device with repo installed I get "could not find any plex server in the network aborting.."    if I try and manually configure server in PKC settings I get SSL cert' failed contact croneter. Plex apps are working on my network outside of kodi. Anyway tx for replying , I can't do logs so will persevere at my end.

I have the problem that for tv shows, all season posters are the same within one series. Is this a PKC thing, or does it come from Kodi itself? Plex correclty shows different posters for different seasons.

I'm having a bad time trying to get PKC to work with my Vero4k and QNAP wondered if anyone could help.

On QNAP Plex Server the media is available through /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/Share/TV

The same media on Kodi is available through source of SMB://qnap/Share

So they both work fine like this using normal Kodi libraries.

When I try to setup PKC for direct paths, no matter what I do it is always trying to replace the path with SMB://share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/share/tv then saying it can't find the files will I stop syncing. I've tried every way I can think of to change this but it just always comes up with the same thing.

Any advice?

"Add to Library"  is any chance to add this option?

I just discovered PKC and it seems to be exactly what I want to stop having multiple databases etc for my various devices.

It seems to work beautifully. My only two issues (Kodi 18 on Fire TV 4k with Aeon Nox Silvo skin) are:

1) The FAQ says libraries will be jumbled together unless I edit the menu shortcuts. Mine are NOT jumbled, but I'd like them to be -- I have two separated shared libraries of TV shows and would like them to be combined together when I choose TV Shows from the home menu, but this doesn't happen and I don't see any way to do this.

2) The FAQ says you can't have it so that selecting a movie will take you to its Info page rather than playing the movie. But on my laptop, with PKC and the same version of Kodi and same skin, it *does* take me to the Info page. On the Fire Tv, though, it does not, and the only way to get Info is to use the Context menu. Both installations have the skin setting of "select action = information" rather than play.

Other than these two things, it seems perfect.

Does this plugin supports plex live tv function? I.E Can I watch live TV in the TV menu in kodi, find channels that plex have and stream them?

How would one be able to get autoplay to function with PKC?
The "Up Next" addon doesn't work.

Edit:
Sorry, I had to add TV Shows, Episodes and Uncategorized in the Kodi “play next” settings and now even the “Up Next” addon seems to work. I am not sure why just TV Shows was not enough to do the trick. Well, live and learn.

I've just started trying PKC and hit my first issue. Is there (or is there going to be) any way to add more than one path substitution for each library? I've got my movies stored across two NAS drives and can't see how to make this setup work.

Either stick to add-on paths instead of direct paths. Or follow this guide: https://github.com/croneter/PlexKodiConn...on-the-PMS
