Use tags for Movies, Pictures, Videos
#1
Good afternoon, everyone,

i'm trying to complete the transition from plex to kodi I am still new and desperately looking for the possibility to tag single pictures, videos, movies so that you can search for these tags. Does the Kodi support? If so, where can I find it? I use the default theme.
If not, is there an addon for it?
Unfortunately I have not found anything for it on the internet:/

Thanks for your attention

Thank you for your answer!Smile

I have already seen this page. If i click on "movies" as described in this pictures,i only see "back, my folder, add videos". Nothing with "tags" is displayed there.

Here you have a picture:

From the introduction of that wiki page...

Tags are a video library feature and require a correctly scanned or scraped library. They can be used in Movies, TV Shows and Music Videos. Tags are not available in file view mode.

Do you have a correctly scanned or scraped library?

Unfortunately not. The Pictures section of Kodi does not use a database/library so there is nowhere to save the tags. Hopefully someone steps up and updates the picture section of Kodi in the near future.
