From day to day, we get all sorts of questions from our various Kodi users who need our support on various aspects of the Kodi application.
Some questions are more complex than others, but we always try to be helpful wherever we can, as well as whenever we can.

But then, there is this gentleman. It's an example of what we can get in our mail inbox. As a peek behind the scenes.

Over time, we've had our share of people who think that this is the best way of getting their wishes through to Team Kodi. And yes, we had a good laugh over this one.

Please treat your Kodi volunteers in a way that you would like to be treated yourself: with the right respect and dignity. All those volunteers are people too.

If that is what happens in a Team Kodi member's mailbox, and what we do see in the garbage bin from time to time - I'm honestly surprised that the Kodi project hasn't upped sticks and just get released between Team Kodi members only - and if you did do that I wouldn't be shocked at all!

So all I can say is Kudos to Team Kodi for keeping going through everything you have endured over the years, whatever you are taking to keep on going, could you please point us to the site, because from here it looks like some real strong stuff Laugh

Seriously though, I for one am pleased that you haven't upped sticks, and am grateful that you guys have made Kodi publicly available. So once again, thanks guys!

Everyone has all kinds of attitude behind a keyboard. Post this on Reddit or 4chan or something. I'm sure they have some idea's on what to do with this person's email address. Deserves whatever he / she gets. Stupidity should be punished and subsequently mocked and laughed at.

*EDIT* To be fair though, we are all guilty of it at some point, sometimes more than once. Can't be too harsh. Person is just uninformed. Sadly making a fool out of themselves due to it.

I think you too are missing the fact that no Team Kodi members are by definition not "professionals" here, because Kodi is a non-profit hobby project and they are community volunteers that AFAIK does not earn them any money.

Professional means that you do the job as a profession to earn a living from it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Professional

Kodi can practically be seen a community service (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Community_service) made up a group of individuals as an unpaid voluntary act (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volunteering) for the benefit of everyone. Just imagine you volunteering to work for free at a not-for-profit organization in your spare time and someone who receives a service from your efforts without having to pay for it contacts you specifically and calls you those things.

Community spirit surely applies between fellow community members, but professional ethics standard practices or moral obligation do as such not need to apply, especially not to people violating the communities code of conduct

sry about that, well his spelling is above average, he does seem to be a bit upset perhaps his mom is calling for him and its time for a nap but he wants to stay up 1 hour more
He does seem to have a gender issue, meaning he knows you are males but seems to think your all transgender and homosexual and also have the female reproduction organ

Never the less tell him to upgrade his kodi because if he is getting movies from the 1800
well it never hurts to upgrade and i am sure he will be very happy with the latest kodi ofc if he wants to view watch movies from the 2020 YOU PAY FOR IT
meaning go to the movies get a subscription to c-more get netflix and so on
