to   bsoriano as  he is  co-author-of  this amber skin   i still like amber skin but :  my downloaded film has separate a srt file. by confluence skin i can add this file via- subtitle search...
in amber i dont see this future,right? if this is true pls add this important future...see my 3 pictures - 2 from confluence, 1 from amber , in dutch - ondertiteling zoeken  - subtitle search..

In the newer skins you have the option to do this, settings, skin settings, full screen/OSD, subtitle button opens subtitle settings in video OSD, yes.

i write about amber - why you talk about newer skins? anyway i dont find these step by step advice  in my amber...i wait here for other solution ...

In Amber, go to settings, from there, you follow the path in my first reply. This only works in the more recent skin versions of Amber. If you have an old version, update it.

@slawomir , @Filmbuff is correct, in more recent versions of Amber you have the option for the subtitles button to open the subtitle settings dialog, from which you can browse as well as download.  I suggest that you download and install the Amber repo (https://github.com/bartolomesoriano/repo...-1.0.1.zip) for Leia, or (https://github.com/bartolomesoriano/repo...-1.0.2.zip) for Matrix, and update Amber to the latest version from there.

Many thanks to all of u for all tips . the problem was in amber skin installation indeed -info of filmbuff... see my photo - by :  subtitle button open ... i had -no /nee in dutch/ , it must be - yes /ja/ .its  a pitty its not a  standard  in this installation like in some skins, for example in influence that i had earlier  ...this thread may be closed...
