Hi friends,
I'm wondering if Arctic zephyr 2 is still being maintained?

I've never used a skin that was more clean and aesthetic. I really like it, but while doing a clean install and some maintenance I've noticed the thread is now locked.

There's no formal word on the project being abandoned that I can find, but I'd like to know going forward if I should suck it up and use a skin I dont like as much.

I'm currently trailing horizon, but even the light theme feels very dark to me. I'm really looking for the clean white ui which I haven't managed to replicate in horizon so far.

I was wondering the same thing. I absolutely love AZ2 and was looking forward to matrix compatibility. Maybe Jurial's working on a new version? Or just gave up to focus on Horizon. Hopefully he'll weigh in with good news some time soon...

I too love AZ2 and will be disappointed if we can't use it with Matrix (although a modded version will probably be fine). Arctic Horizon is an exceptional skin as well but it's the little things that had me sticking with AZ2 like a cleaner UI (AH has this thing where the media flags and audio language flags overlap each other, I also prefer seeing media flags whenever I am hovering over something but in AH I have to go into the movie/episode information menu to see media flags). Also, I don't know why, but knowing what time a video will end has become a priority for me. I've gotten so used to it that I hate it when I'm using other skins or streaming apps and don't know exactly what time the movie/episode will end.

I got it working on RC1 using this post. I am not sure why it hasn't been changed in the repo, but I really hope it keeps getting support.

I'm in absolute agreement. AZ2 is the best skin I've ever used. Gutted when I lost it due to the Kodi Matrix update.
I installed Horizon but just don't like it to be honest. Gone back to the default Kodi skin.
Here's hoping we get an AZ2 Matrix update and we can all enjoy your beautiful skin on Kodi 19. Pretty please with sugar on top! 😊

Do you know how to install using a zip? I did this on my FireTV. Other hardware may be easier. It seems to work fine, but I am having problems with profiles. Not sure if it is AZ2 or something else.

I killed AZ2, when I upgraded to Matrix. What a shock it was, when all my plugins began to malfunction and shutdown. Thank god I didn't loose the database. It pays to read the material, prior to any upgrade. I've gone back to the default skin, as other skins, including Horizon don't come close to AZ2 functionality.

Has Jurial made any posts or comments confirming AZ2 is dead? The forum is obviously locked so that doesn't bode well but I'm holding out hope.
