Here are the MQ9 news about widgets:

THIRD GENERATION WIDGETS
- A brand new selector organized by categories, also includes sorting and sorting options in the same window.
- A new code provides over 200% faster widget loading speed compared to Aeon MQ 8.
- Direct access to playlists and nodes. You no longer need to create an item in the main menu to have playlist widgets, you can now choose any existing playlist or node independently.
- The well-known feature called My Menu now gives way to Custom Favorites. Each of the 30 menus can have a set of independent custom favorite widgets. You can create a list with unique or mixed content with movies, sitcoms, add-ons and etc.
- New button for Custom Widget where it is possible to include a URL for exclusive content.

Something that is important to improve is also the condition of the mouse
When I use the mouse the menu goes straight down

Could also make "Smart Submenu of Aeon MQ8" to be customise? 
The function of Smart Submenu is really good but have no setting for it on Aeon MQ8.

In the past I have not been a big fan of the MQ series of skins as I felt that things such as menu customisation and widgets were more complicated and with fewer options than other skins.

MQ9 looks beautiful and I will be intrigued to see how the 3rd generation of widgets works - a simple question will I be able to set up a widget using Autowidgets and then have MQ9 display it?

I look forward to seeing this skin in action and much respect to the devs because you are doing things I cannot

hi to all,
i've installed MQ9 and it works fine exept one thing.
i can't access to my Concerts ! i have tried to let concerts like it is, tried to do by a playlist, tried to do without changing nothing....
when i click on concerts, kodi just close !
the other sections work
in Aeon MQ8 it works

I don´t have any issue entering in concerts with or without items in the library, works well...
