Using the AH skin on Matrix, I haven't been able to add a "Favorites" widget.  I like to tag groups of movies into "collections" and mark them as favorites.  Then I usually include a widget for favorites(collections) on my home screen, but I'm not seeing where I'm able to do this so far.

Interesting. How can I add collections widget on my favorite tab?
I usually build a "Tags" submenu into my Movies tab.  From there I'm able to create whatever tags I want (i.e. 4K movies, MCU, LOTR, Matrix, etc.) and include whatever movies in those tags.  From there a hard press opens up a context menu that allows you to add the tag to favorites.  From there I like to build a "Showcase" tab on my main menu that includes widgets for Collections, Random movies, Continue Watching, On Deck episodes and whatever other video apps I use (Netflix, HBO Max, YoutubeTV).  I need the ability for "Favorites" to be used as a widget in order for my Collections to be expressed this way.
Currently AH doesn't have this functionality (Aura on Kodi 18.9 did), so I had to use the Super Favourites add-on instead of Kodi's built in "Favorites" function.

I would love to see the movie flags in the main screen like this.

Is there a way to edit what texts show up on landscape views in the widgets? I can’t get rid of the bar that says “No information available”. Image

What software or app is used to create the same icons that come in the default skin? I need to create some and I want them to be in the same style.

Hi

Jurialmunkey : I m still using AZ2 on Leila but I plan to update to Matrix with AH when AEL will be released.
I have try AH on Leia and I can only use a square list or tag list for AEL. I miss a square row for PS1, folder row for Genesis, GC , NES ...and landscape row for SNES, N64. There re many cases format for same content type.
Can you consider add this to your skin?

Thanks for your great job

I've been using Rom Collection Browser as a AEL alternative since it's not Matrix compatible yet.

Hi. Not sure if this is a skin thing or a kodi thing - but do context menus really have to say 'context menu'? I mean, I know what it is lol. Any way to edit that?

I just found out that you are working on this skin again. Very nice! My all time favorite skin was Eminence 2, closely followed by Arctic.

I have a few questions:

Will some of the views that where in previouis Eminence 2 or Arctic skins also be in Arctic Horizon? Like this one with background
Image

Also I am a little bit confused. What are the differences between Arctic Horizon or Zephyr?

Am I correct that there is no off-button in this skin to close the Kodi app, or is that just a Google TV thing? (I am using this skin on Kodi 19 on my new Chromecast with Google TV). Confluence, Estuary and other skins do have off-buttons in the main menu

And is it possible to always open the movie info first, when selecting a movie? Now it is longpress for info and normal press for movie start

I'm sorry if I missed obvious options. So far I haven't found out what settings to change (but as Google TV is entirely new for me and I haven't used Kodi in a while, that could just be my mistake in not knowing where to look)

Thanks for your help and for your great work.

You can edit any of the menu options in the skin's settings, and there is the ability to add "Power Off". Whether it works with Google TV or not, I'm not sure, but Google TV doesn't dictate how this (or any) skin looks, or what settings they can have, as those are defined within Kodi's ecosystem, which is meant to be platform-agnostic.

Also, you can change the default action to "Show Information" in Kodi's own settings.
Thank you! I'll check again.

Could have been that GTV didn't support in-app power buttons (though i've found them in other skins)

I'm not using favourites with AH but movie sets might work instead? https://kodi.wiki/view/Movie_sets

I don't generally like movie sets because you can only pick one set per movie.  My collections share several of the same movies (i.e. The Departed is in both my Scorsese collection and in the Oscars collection).  However, I discovered I can still use the Super Favorites add-on, so problem solved.
As you can already browse on movies by a specific director, isn't it just easier to only use franchises as a collection specifier?

Any news on this? I am getting same error.

Hello, I need help for this excellent skin that I find impressive. In the widgets when the images of the movies or series are loaded or there is one that does not have an image or does not find it, the empty box appears, I want to put an image that by default when it does not find anything that image appears, in Auramod I did it by naming My image as defaultfanartfallback.png within the textures.xbt and it was already showing it, in this skin as it does not have xbt and all png is in the root, I don't know how to put the image, I have tried naming it with the same name as in auramod but it doesn't show it, you know how to make it show a default image in empty widgets. Thanks a lot
