Hi all,
Hope this is in the right forum (wasn't sure if it should be here or in the Confluence/Xonfluence thread?).
I am having a very bizarre issue with one particular smart playlist - any help would be greatly appreciated.
Have not attached a debug log, as it takes several hours to replicate the issue, but happy to follow up with it if it's necessary.
System details: LibreELEC 9.2.6 (kernel: Linux 5.1.16), Kodi 18.9 Leia, Xonfluence skin
Media library details: content in separate folders on NAS - Movies Adults, Movies Teens, Movies Kids, TV Shows Adults, TV Shows Teens, TV Shows Kids
Problematic smart playlist details: "TV Shows Adults" (path contains "TV Shows Adults", path contains "TV Shows Teens", items must match one or more rules)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I recently transferred my media to a new NAS. I updated every single source link and smart playlist and made sure there are no old links left (using the Video Database Cleaner add-on).
Everything works perfectly and as before, except one particular smart playlst. "TV Shows Adults" now only shows the content from "TV Shows Teen" and four shows added to "TV Shows Adults" after the transfer to the new NAS. Nothing from "TV Shows Adults" that was added during with the original transfer to the new NAS is showing in the smart playlist "TV Shows Adults", for some reason.
The entire media collection is showing properly in the overall "TV Shows" section in Kodi and everything plays perfectly, including the entire content of "TV Shows Adults". So the media in question is definitely there and scrapes correctly - it just doesn't get filtered in this particular smart playlist for some reason.
It might help to illustrate with numbers:
The content is as follows: TV Shows Kids (10 items), TV Shows Teens (15 items), TV Shows Adults (20 items, 4 of which are newly added since the transfer). In Kodi, the overall category TV Shows contains 45 items, all correctly scraped and playable. However, the smart playlist "TV Shows Adults", which used to contain 35 items (TV Shows Teens + TV Shows Adults) now only contains 19 items (TV Shows Teens + the 4 recently added items in TV Shows Adults).
So far I have tried:
1) Deleting the smart playlist and recreating from scratch
2) Experimenting with every other option for the smart playlist ("path is", "path starts with", "path does not contain", etc)
3) Deleting the TV Shows Adults file source and re-adding it from scratch
4) Changing the content of TV Shows Adults file source and re-scraping
5) Re-scraping the missing items individually (using the Missing Media add-on and then setting the content for each item individually, ticking the "folder contains single TV Show option)
With options (3), (4) and (5) the "missing" items initially appear in the "TV Shows Adults" smart playlist, but as soon as I update the media library they appear to be getting scraped again, only to start disappearing from the smart playlist one by one. So as the media library is getting "updated" the number of items in the "TV Shows Adults" smart playlist starts dropping from 35 to 19 again. Argh!
Any idea what on Earth is going on and how do I fix this misbehaving smart playlist? I am hoping to avoid having to reinstall Kodi and/or the entire media library from scratch, if at all possible.
Many thanks in advance!
