prv iptv wont install on android and freeze on Win 10
#1
Hi
I've been trying one week ago to see my iptv channels on my android phone with latest Kodi for android.

But when I try to install the PVR IPTV simple client, the install fails.
I think its because one of the dependencies fail to install, the "inputstream FFMPEG" one.

And yesterday I tried again and, it stills fails, but now its not only the "inputstream ffmpe'g" but also the "inputstream.adaptive" that fails because its written : "non available".

How could I fix that ?

Also I tried yesterday to install it on Windows.
Latest version of Kodi, downloaded from the Kodi website.

The install of the IPTV simple client succeeded.
Then I went on config, I put the M3U link, but then when I click on TV its written on the top right corner:
"Pvr manager is starting up : 0%"

And it stays loading forever, always staying at 0%

And then eventually Kodi freezes and Windows closes it.

I dont know how to provide a log on both android and windows.

Thanks for your help

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

Go to the Repository and 'Check for Updates' via the Context Menu, then install.

It worked !
I feel so dumb lol

I installed succesfully, so I'll try tonight to put the URL etc to check if it works.

Any clue for my Windows 10 problem (PVR client loading forever 0%) ?

If you need I'll post Windows Kodi log tonight.

Thanks

Ok,
So I tried on Android. I did put the link I have on M3U URL on the config menu of the IPTV simple client add-on.

I closed Kodi and opened it again.

And the same problem as in Windows happens.
It loads forever and stays at 0%

So I'm starting to think that it's my IPTV link whose faulty.

The probleme is I don't want to give my link to someone, nor provide a log if it gives out loud my personal iptv link.

My link isnt finishing by ".m3u" but by :

&type=m3u_plus&output=mpegts

My link looks like this:

http://mybelovedlink.com/get.php?usernam...put=mpegts

Maybe its because its not a true m3u link ?

Do you think I could kind of "convert" it to fit in Kodi ?

The link format should be fine assuming it works in a web browser. This thread might be of help https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=360133
