No was not created. I forced stop Kodi and restarted my Nvidia Shield but was the same.

You're gonna have to dig out the log files and post them, sounds like something got corrupted.

I think something is wrong with the latest version of the skin. I was forced to uninstall Kodi an lost about 1700 scraped titles, doesn’t matter I can add them to the library again. I installed a fresh copy after cleaning everything related to Kodi, installed the skin from the repo and I got the same issue, Kodi is stuck at splash screen with the spinning wheel.

Same issue.. fresh install of OSMC 19.1 and i'm stuck on the splash screen after enabling the skin..

I can see there was an update and some changes to the startup splash & skin wizard, something must've gone wrong with it. Will have to wait for the skin author to advise how to work around it.

If you experiencing any issues, please delete folder with skin settings from this location: https://kodi.wiki/view/Kodi_data_folder#Location and userdata/addon_data and also from addons folder. You can rename guisettings.xml too if it won't boot in Estuary.

Ok! The issue with bootloop should be now fixed.. Please follow instruction from post above to reinstall skin.

@nfm886 Stuff happens don't sweat it.
I recommend manual clone the \AppData\Roaming\Kodi before any update personally, just in case. i try and do one at least once a week in-case i forget.
that way if something break i just delete kodi and replace with a copy of the clone back up. always ensure a working clone is on hand.

That's not a bad idea if someone want to have backup. But my role is not to break people Kodi
