I have recently moved over to Kodi from Mediaportal and with the following equipment:


Digital Devices Octopus NET SL M4 is my SAT>IP Tuner

Dell Optiplex 7020 - Running DVBViewer Media Server, DVBViewer pro
Dell Optiplex 5080 running Kodi 19.1 with DVBViewer add-on
HP Pavilion Gaming Notebook i7 processor also running Kodi 19.1 with DVBViewer add-on, DVBViewer pro
All PCs above are running Windows 10 Pro

I am able to get one DVBViewer to receive TV channel with one instalnce of Kodi (tried both clients in turn) and only one will play a live TV channel in addition to the DVBViewer. I can get 2 DVBViewer players to play different channels but I'm unable to get my 2 instances of Kodi to play 2 TV channels at the same time, when I do I get an error message referring me to the error log.

The Time Shift folder is on the Optiplex 7020 (DMS) and the clients use the UNC address for the Time-shift folder.

You are a genius, I moved the Time Shift Folder from the Server to each local client and I can now watch a channel on each Kodi machine :-)
