Solved library connection issues for a mariadb on a Pi2
#1
I'm probably cross-posting a bit as I'm not sure what is going on or what the issue is. Yesterday 19.* was released for Xbox, so now I'm updating all my installs. There seems to be an issue with connecting to a central dbase through advancedsettings.xml though. None of my installs (Linux Manjaro or Xbox's) with advancedsettings.xml enabled will work with a library. I can´t set the content type of a source and import files. Any idea what is going on here?

UPDATE: I found the issue: the old advancedsettings.xml had this tag <name>xbmc_video</name> which was causing issues or so it seems. My bad for not noticing it was removed.

The default mysql database name 'xbmc_video' stopped being used when XBMC was changed into "Kodi". That was some time ago.
You can still use the database name as long as it is defined as such in the advancedsettings.xml file.
