Considering that on Android one needs to root to mount a rclone drive (wreaking havoc on Netflix/PrimeVideo/etc.), I was wondering if it was in any way possible to have the rclone engine work as a plugin for Android. So that the mount is not system wide but Kodi "sees it" and can access it regularly. The various Google Drive plugins are good but never perfect and integration with Kodi is most definitely not what you can get when mounting rclone on a platform that easily allows that.

Maybe it's a stupid question, I don't know. :-)

Edit: literally just found out about this https://github.com/fandangos/rclone-addon I'll see if there's a discussion open for it.
