I'd like to customize confluence or something like it, to where I can start at my favorites.
If that is not possible, I would like to redirect the Movies and the TV library link to a favorite (folder) instead of the library.
Is this possible with Kodi today?

I know the link you are talking about, but it's several clicks deep.
I am looking for a way to either open a folder when I click the movies or TV banner link or open my favorites instead of the home screen.
Can this be done?

Can you not just have "favourites" as a main menu item ?
Edit: I should have added , you will need to change to a skin that allows custom main menu items. Most of the other skins do.

What skin do you use that allows you to customize main menus?
I am using confluence because I like the thumbnail view.

Thank you for that response.
I don't see a simple way to edit Xonfluence to make a favorites menu in the main menu, or a direct link to folders in the same menu in the settings.
Is there a guide to edit the XML to add these menus, or is there something hidden? Advanced is turned on and I can hide elements, but I don't seem to be able to edit the home screen to add custom folders.

Is there a repo with an updated confluence?

Xonfluence is a great and accomplished skin, but for the user who asked the initial question almost surely an overkill. His request is more easily satisfied using ACZ, a skin which is faster than Xonfluence (in my testing, even faster than good old Confluence itself) and includes a very nice way to integrate Favorites in the main menu.
