HDR doesn't seem possible at the current time as no one has been able to figure it out yet. Attempts to use the same methods as Win10 failed.

Thanks a lot for keep working on this! I also realized today that I cannot activate the passthrough on kodi from xbox and then I found this thread.

Is there an ETA for 19.4? I am tracking the milestones on Github. I see still new issues are added to the 19.4 release. Is there an ongoing problem with 19.4?

In another thread, someone asked about 19.4 the first week of January and a team Kodi member replied with something like "hopefully by the end of the month but no guarantees." 🙃😛

I am also waiting very much on this feature. At the moment I cannot use Kodi on my Shield TVs for some strange reason (it's constantly crashing: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=367257) so I installed yesterday Kodi on my Series X and was happy that I could even use my mysql-setup and I also found the add-on work-around. So, very happy that this works. But the missing passthrough of course is a pain Sad

My writing here is not a complaint, but "cheer-leading" for this feature Smile

v19.4 is now ready, however due to past problems with Xbox releases the builds need to be validated by a couple of our Team members before being uploaded to MS Store, and will then need to go through the usual MS certification before automatic rollout & updates commence.

If you're willing to install Kodi with the Xbox in Dev Mode, then build can be downloaded at http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/windows/UWP/
