Hello. Loving the Rapier Skin. Only skin I ever use.

I'm wondering about the Music Genre Fanart backgrounds. I find that some genre has the background, and others don't. I only could find one add-on for this, which is the "Music Genre Fanart - Coloured".

Can I customize the background per genres? Or, if not, any reason why some genres just have a black backgrounds. I'd say it's about 50% working.

Thanks for that. I was hunting for it on Github, so I could check the images at the same time, and could not find it. Should have checked there first Smile

Do you know where it is hosted on github? There is no link in the addon.xml

Yes you can. If you go to your \Kodi data folder (wiki)\addons\resource.images.musicgenrefanart.coloured\resources\ folder you will find all the images that are used. You can add more, or replace the existing ones with different images. Then restart Kodi and they should be used.
Make sure you name the new images exactly the same as the genre name used in Kodi.

Yeah, only the images in this folder will be displayed: https://github.com/xbmc/repo-resources/t.../resources
If genres are missing, they will show a black background.

If you manually add images to your local folder, you should know that they are overwritten and removed when the addon is updated.

Feel free to find missing copyright free genre images and send them to me.
If they fit with the addon layouts, I can PR them to the repo.
