Hello! I came to Kodi from WMC. Overall I find it functional and comfortable, a worthy replacement WMC. I'm just starting to get acquainted, but I ran into such a problem that I can't use the timeshift function in Kodi. I activated it and now the program crashes at the start and launch of the TV section. Maybe someone will tell me how to fix this or the version of Kodi where the timeshift works.
I did not find how to attach the log to the message, so insert the last few lines where the errors are, maybe this will help to deal with the problem.

Upload the logs to our paste site and post the link that the site will provide for you once you submit the log to here. Using the log uploader addon is simplest of all.

Looks like there are no takers in the Windows section to assist you.

I'll move this to the PVR support section to see if that gets more attention, but as we don't have a specific section for TV Mosaic you might be out of luck if it's not so commonly used...

I think TV Mosaic is supported in DVBLink forum, since that is the new name for DVBLink.  Consider renaming the forum to TV Mosaic (CE) since that is the supported backend now.

Thanks to! In general, Kodi works very well, but without a timeshift, he loses a lot to competitors.

I think you might find that TV Mosaic issues need to be reported on the GitLab site, since very little activity seems to happen here on the Kodi thread.

Yes, zero activity. Do you know who developed the add-on for KODI? If this is the development of the DVBink team, then they can help, but the company no longer exists since 2020.

No, I don't know who developed the add-on for Kodi, but since TVMosaic is now open source, it's obviously community driven.
From what I read previously, the addon that exists now is a slimmed down version of the original TV Mosaic server and addon.
Due to some licensing issues, not all of the original features could be included.
Pavlo Barvinko is listed as the Co(Founder) of DVBLogic according to a copy of a mailing list circular that is mentioned on this thread:

Looks to me like the Kodi addon is unmaintained as there's no activity from anyone at https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.dvblink other than Team memebers doing API bumps to keep it alive.

It's a pity, in general, it would be a good replacement for the WMC. I'll try to contact via github, thanks for the answers.

I can't help with the DVBLink specific problem with timeshift but as a former DVBLink customer, I can highly recommend DVBViewer as an alternate PVR solution/addon.  The recording timer functionality in DVBViewer is far more flexible and powerful than that of DVBLink and the addon works fully, including timeshift.

beeswax, thanks for the reply, I need to try this add-on. I understand correctly that TVMosaic is not needed, but DVBViewer acts as a service for receiving TV channels? I remember, dvbviewer was a paid program?
