Hi Guys,
New here so hi to everyone...
I notes on this issue?, I have a similar problem where my pre-1902 collection is added but as future years! ...haha, so ironic :-P ...but only happen on kodi on my android tv, kodi on my ubuntu systems show all of them with the correct year...I'm using .nfo files that I create using the kodi nfo template page...
So for instance the "Roundhay Garden Scene" instead of been listed as 1888, it gets under year 2024! lol...but only on kodi my on androidtv, on my computer is correctly listed under year 1888. ..so my guest is that my .nfo is not so wrong, but definitely have something that is misunderstand on kodi for androidtv...and yes I using "premiereddate" tag and not the "year" tag...I will copy the content of the file bellow..
From some tests that I do, I can say that the python movie db scrapper is not picking up pre-1902 movies no matter if is on my computer or on androidtv, in both I have to use the Movie Database scrapper (not the python one..)..but as I say, it only seems to correclty set the year on my ubuntu system, but not on androidtv..
About the versions..
Ubuntu 20.04 with Kodi 18.6 (I pretty sure is not 19 due the package name...)
Kodi on androidtv version 19.3, androidtv v9..
I have all my systems set in US english, but I was thinking that perhaps was something related to UTF-8 on my androidtv miss reading the date?....also just for a test I try with the "year" tag with the same result and I also try adding the "id" tag and using the imdb or the tmdb id's, same thing, always display as future years on androidtv...as far as I can check I using the correct imdb and tvmdb unique id's
Any suggestions?...what else can I provide to help with the issue?...
Thanks guys!
