Beta Copacetic: alpha and beta development thread
Thanks now it worked, simple skin. After I test it myself.
Update: Info dialogs are mostly finished now with widgets that make use of the main views. This is with the light theme activated. A few small kinks to work out but then I think all that's remaining are some of the less used dialogs and some bug squashing:

Latest build here: https://github.com/realcopacetic/skin.copacetic
How do I turn on a light theme? The items in my settings are not active.
In the menu that comes up if you press s. On shield you hold back on the homescreen to get it. I will add it soon to skin settings as well
Sorry for the newbie question.
Trying to download the latest version from the Github link on the first page.
There is usually  green Code icon on that page on which I normally click to download.
That icon is missing. How can I still download please ?
Click Link Try this.
Hmmm I see the green 'Code' button to download at this link: https://github.com/realcopacetic/skin.copacetic

If you don't see it are you on mobile by any chance? I think it's somewhere else when I look on my phone
Any plans to add in an option to auto close OSD after x amount of seconds? I've also encountered an issue with subtitles, when i enable them and click set as default, followed by the tick it doesn't seem to persist on the next episode. Not sure if this is a skin issue, but I haven't had the issue before.

Looks stunning, very clean and minimal!

That's a good idea. What do you think is a reasonable delay?

Hmmm, I've not had that issue as I have subtitles set by default on everything and it always seems to work. That menu is auto generated, so the skin only really affects the look of the buttons rather than the functionality, but if it's not been an issue in other skins, I'll try and replicate it and see if there's some sort of bug in my code.

Thanks, it needs a layer of polish especially in the animations that may be beyond me. At this point I just want to finish the remaining list of dialogs and call it a day

Thank you for sharing this skin. it's absolutely stunning! Without doubt the most beautiful skin on Kodi for content browsing with excellent use of fanart ....kudos!!

I second the idea of auto close OSD, that would be awesome - on other skins I usually select a 7 second option when available, which seems to be the sweet spot.

Can be cheeky to ask for a couple of things if you're tinkering with the OSD anyways Smile:

Would it be possible to have an option to display a clearlogo above in the player infoline/pause menu?. Something like this : imgur.

Was also wondering if its even possible to include audio format in the now playing Info. Currently it has : Title / Year / Video Quality / End Time. Could it be adjusted to include Title / Year / Video Quality / Audio Quality / End Time.... handy to see what codec is being used at a glance.

Thanks again for this great skin!

Thanks, I've added a hardcoded 8 second autoclose on the OSD for now. Not sure if I implemented it the best way, so please let me know if you are aware of one of the other skins that gives options for this - and then I can check if there's a better way to do it and add some skinsetting options to adjust the time.

Will look at adding the clearlogo to the OSD screen, thanks for the suggestion.

Re. the audio codec, it should be showing as a flag on the infoscreen already, e.g. Dolby Digital Plus in this screenshot. Is this what you mean? If it's not showing what you expect to see, it might be because I have some missing flags as I used my own ones rather than the built-in library. This is what I currently have: https://github.com/realcopacetic/skin.co...lags/audio

Please let me know if there are some you need that are missing or if you mean something different. I'd rather not make that line longer as it can already end up quite long with multiple director credits e.g. the example below. I need to rethink this information anyway and thinking of adding another screen to the infodialog with full file info.

Just tried to install the updated version, getting a failed to install message. need to look at my logs.
Got it working, auto close OSD works nicely however it leaves the pause icon in the middle of the screen not sure if this is intentional though.
