Good afternoon, I'm watching a 4k video on kodi, which is video in vp9, I noticed that vp9 videos on kodi appear with a faded color, in vlc it's normal. I noticed that if I disable the mediacodec the color is normal but the video is freezing, would anyone know how to solve this? I'm on android using a s10+ samsung and I really wanted to know why on kodi the image looks like this.

Don't create a whole new thread just because you have a new kodi.log file. Simply stick to your initial thread to avoid possible confusion.

Also you could use the forum's Imgur automagical upload function for your photos/pics (the -i- text editor menu button, next to the smiley button), as Google doesn't have to know everything.

How do I report the bug? i am having issues with kodi color tone when i watch youtube videos in VP9 the colors are washed out. I also don't know how to delete the post to create a more elaborate one.

I used kodi version 18.9, but my addons that I currently use don't work on that version, so I switched to nexus version 20 which I use now. I noticed that the videos in the 19 matrix and 20 nexus version the vp9 videos are faded and gray, I also noticed that I can't turn off HDR even if I turn it off in kodi settings, my cell phone is a samsung S10+ with HDR-10 HEVC
