The addon was not in my repo, haha.

I just added a working version to my repo (v1.0.21) which should work with both Kodi 19 and 20.

Installed it, set the backup path. Ran the backup with a friendly notification, that backup file was created.

Everything SEEMS to be fine, but i cannot see any effect of the exported and imported skin settings:
I exported from my Rapier Installation on my Win8.1 HTPC with Kodi 19.4.
I imported from my Rapier Installation on my Zidoo UHD3000 with ZDMC 19.4.
message appeared, that the settings were imported but i cannot see any effect:
- No language Settings
- No background settings
- No custom menues or submenues
- No general skin settings (e. g. disabled top menue bar)
....
That cannot be intentional, right?

No that doesn't seem right.

I don't know much about python coding, so I only fixed the errors in the log to get addon working with Python 3.
Maybe some functionality still doesn't work. I can see that the addon completes successfully, but doesn't save my skin settings at all.

Can you manually copy the skin settings to the other systems?

I'm on my phone right now, but I think the path is
..userdata/addon_data/skin.rapier/settings.xml

You can find the userdata folder here: https://kodi.wiki/view/Userdata#Location

You can manually copy the skin settings file to your other systems.
