hi if anyone is using this skin, I've just switched to Kodi Nexus Release Candidate on Nvidia Shield and the skin feels much faster now. As an example music and video windows initialise in about 1/3 of the time for me than they were before I updated Kodi.

I would recommend anyone using this skin as their main to try switching to Kodi Nexus release candidate (especially on Nvidia Shield) and update to the latest version of the skin (0.6.4) as I have now closed all of the major bugs that I am currently aware of.

Since updating the skin all my music albums fanart changed from album fanart to either displaying the artist as fanart when browsing into the album or the thumbnail as fanart. Should I update the naming convention of fanart.jpg within the album folder to something else for it to display correctly again?

No I think I probably changed something accidentally. Just to confirm, you're saying that album fanart isn't showing when you browse albums but instead you're seeing artist fanart? Can you just confirm if album fanart is working correctly in listview? I think I fixed it for listview but perhaps forgot to apply the fix to the other views

That's correct. Artist fanart is showing up instead of album fanart when I browse into any individual album. And yes, album fanart is working correctly when in list view.

Maybe. I'd like to but it's a big job and I don't use it or even have it set up so would have to look into it. Consider it my stretch goal for 2023, if I am able to build a python addon to support the skin.

I changed the code so the fallback image will be DefaultActor.png. If you go to skin folder > media, find DefaultActor.png and you can change it with whatever you like. I didn't have time to create a new icon. Perhaps when I have more time. You will need to replace it each time the skin is updated, as otherwise it will revert the thumbnail back

thank you! this is the defaultactor.png i extra from Textures.xbt of ftv skin. I think you can add it to media folder as completed defaultactor.png and release it at next version of your skin (of course you should modify the actor image as better as you want)
