Upgraded to Kodi 20 (Nexus)
Since the upgrade... 3D files (SBS and TAB) are not working. When playing (SBS), the right half of the screen is black.. and 3D-TAB missing lower half of the screen is also black.
The Kodi Menus are visible on both sides (SBS) and top and bottom (TAB) but the movie itself only plays one side. Subtitles, if enabled, also work properly displaying on both sides.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Can’t find much about this issue. But I have the same problem. As I’m trying to playback a 3D SBS movie it looks weird. It does play but it’s like de right half which is cut off shows up on the left side or vise versa. Tried to switch left/right eye. And now I’m out of options. Did you make any progress? Using Nexus 20.1 at the moment.

Okay I have the luxury of multiple players, so did the faf of moving a couple arround.
I used a dedicated Kodi Player (OSMC) on the same TV output with no 3D issues!
Same Kodi version of 20.2.
I then went back to the original kodi player (20.2) on windows (10).
And did some tinkering.
I changed the video render method from Auto to Software.
This allowed the 3D film to play correctly.
I say correctly, it was very jumpy and broke normal TV playback, but it did play the 3D film.
I would therefore say a nasty windows update or graphics card update has broken the ability to split and output 2 video streams at once.
So more playing is needed.
There might be more information in the Kodi logs

No Windows dev has 3D hardware as far as I know.
It could be a driver problem (could be mostly ruled out if things work with another player).
Or it was broken in Kodi unknowingly and without the hardware it's pretty difficult to address those.
The only way would be for a user to identify the commit that broke things, by building older versions (there are too many differences between the officially released versions)

I had the same problem with 3D movies with kodi 19.5, 20.1, 20.3 and 20.4.
Now i have replaced the 64bit version for a 32bit version of kodi 20.4 and it seems to work just fine.

Sorry.. false positief...
but... 10 out of 50 works fine, only i can't see the difference format and framerates are the same with a few that plays well, also audio is a match with some.
I kan play the files without the 3d tag and bij using a 3d subtitle, so it seems the the switch within kodi to the 3d menu makes the problem.
